AN: Here’s chapter 9! Someone asked if I got the idea for the island from
Days of our Lives. Yes, that was the basis for this idea. Enjoy and please

Chapter 9
Will’s POV
“Hey Will, any change?” Tommy asked.
“No, the comet is still on the same trajectory,” I replied.
“Well, then I suppose I’ll go down to the station and see if Rocky has any
leads,” Tommy replied.
“I’m on my way to the courthouse,” I told him.
“The courthouse?” he asked curiously.
“Our esteemed mayor has asked me to come see him today,” I replied.
“Mind if I tag along?” Tommy asked.
“I was hoping you would,” I replied, as we left Wolf Tech and headed for
downtown Angel Grove.

Will and Tommy were let in to the mayor’s office.
“Hello Will, nice to see you. A pleasant surprise it is to see you as well
Tommy. Please sit,” Zedd told us. Reluctantly, we sat down.
“What did you want to talk about?” I asked, getting straight to the point.
“I won’t beat around the bush. But last night, Rita was abducted in the
same manner that Aisha and Adam were,” he choked back tears. But I
wasn’t buying his act.
“The Angel Guardians have been investigating and there is no trace of
her,” he told us. I was stunned for a moment. In the back of my mind, I
suspected Zedd. But he wouldn’t kidnap his own wife...would he? I asked
myself.
“Why haven’t you reported it to the police?” Tommy asked.
“I am going to, I just wanted to let you both know first since it seems we are
all personally involved now. I am also scheduled to speak at a press
conference to enstate a curfew until this mess is solved,” Zedd replied.
“We’ll let Rocky know what’s going on,” Tommy said, as we stood to leave.
“Thank you boys. I know that you don’t trust me. But I assure you that I
want safe return...for everyone,” Zedd told us. We nodded and left. But I
still could not shake the foreboding feeling that Zedd knew more than he
was letting on...and that he could not be trusted.

Adam’s POV
I still can’t help but look around at the replicated city around me. I still have
yet to figure out just what Zedd hopes to gain by imprisoning us on this
stupid island. I had gone home to see if my apartment was actually there. It
was indeed, though it was missing the one thing I needed most right
now...Tanya. She must be going through hell right now. I knocked on
Aisha’s door. She answered and I was stunned to see she had company.
Aisha’s eyes looked a little moist and I marched inside.
“What the hell do you want?!” I asked angrily.
“Now little froggie, where are your manners? I’m a victim too,” she said
sweetly.
“Yeah right Rita. We both know that you and Zedd are behind this,” I
retorted.
“Yes, but that’s why Zedd staged my kidnaping. He is hoping to throw your
friends off our trail,” Rita replied.
“It doesn’t matter. Will won’t buy it for a minute and he’ll see right through it
as some stunt to take suspicion off,” I shot back.
“Will, Tommy, and Rocky don’t trust Zedd and they will find us!” Aisha
sobbed, trying to keep from crying.
“It doesn’t matter whether they believe Zedd or not. They won’t find you
until it too late and we have all of you as our prisoners,” Rita replied.
“And just what do you hope to gain by all this?” I fished for answers.
“That will be answered in time,” Rita replied cryptically, as she
disappeared.

Kat’s POV
I walked out of the clinic with a spring in my step. I had just received the
most wonderful news, but I instantly felt guilty considering what Rocky and
Tanya were going through right now. I was also scared. I knew that Will or I
could be a target and I don’t know what I’d do if we were separated. I
decided to head home to tell him my news.

Previous night-Will’s POV
Kat came out of the bathroom in a sleek nightgown. She never ceases to
take my breath away. She is practically glowing and I can see tears
brimming her eyes.
“Kat, are you okay?” I asked.
“It’s positive. The test is positive,” she replies. My face breaks into a smile,
as I scoop her up and spin her around. She giggles, but then her face falls
into a soft frown.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” I ask.
“Oh Will, what if they take you next,” she cries. I hug her close and kiss her
sweet neck.
“Everything’s going to be okay. We’re going to find whoever took Aisha and
Adam and we’ll get them back.,” I tell her reassuringly, as I wipe her tears
away. I smile at her again.
“We did it angel, we’re going to have a baby,” I tell her. She wipes away
the rest of her tears and smiles.
“I love you Will, so much,” she says, as she rests her head on my shoulder.
“I love you too angel,” I reply, as I lift her into my arms and carry her to bed
to celebrate.

“Earth to Will, you in there?” I heard Tommy call.
“Sorry Tommy, didn’t mean to go off into space like that,” I replied, hoping
he would let it drop. Fat chance.
“You were thinking about Kat, weren’t you?” he teased. I gave him a look
and he chuckled.
“So, do you still think Zedd is behind this?” Tommy asked.
“I don’t know, I definitely don’t trust him. But then if Ivan is still alive, he
could very well be behind this as well,” I replied.
“I know, what a mess,” Tommy replied, as I pulled into my driveway.
The group of us congregated at my house that evening. We ordered dinner
in and then we decided to go over what little information we had been able
to gather. The next morning, Tommy, Rocky and I were planning a trip out
to the premises of the old power chamber. We had not been there when it
was destroyed and we thought it would be worth a chance to see if
anything was salvageable. I eyed Kat shooting me looks and I knew she
wanted to talk to me. I got up and followed her into the kitchen where we
could be alone for a moment.
“Did you see the doctor today?” I asked. She beamed with radiance and I
felt my heart skip a beat.
“Yes, I’m ten weeks along,” she said happily. I hugged her and gently
kissed her lips, while I put my hand on her stomach. She smiled and we
shared another kiss before going into the living room. The glow that
radiated off Kat and the goofy grin plastered on my face must have been
enough for our friends to guess.
“What’s going on you two?” Kim asked.
“I’m pregnant,” Kat announced. The room erupted in congratulations for us.
After that, Rocky, Tommy, and I sat down to discuss the meeting we had
with Zedd earlier while the girls conversed with each other. Connor and
Ethan listened intently as well. I could tell that they were both still in what I
liked to call power withdraw. I had it during the zeo days and it deepened
when the gold powers rejected me. I then turned my attention to the
situation at hand.

Zedd’s POV
“What do you have to report?” I asked.
“It seems that Katherine is pregnant,” Goldar reported. I took in the
information and was silent for a few moments.
“Master, do you wish for her to be the next target?” Goldar asked.
“How far along is she?” I asked.
“Ten weeks,” he replied.
“No, it’s too soon. These two are next,” I replied, handing him two photos.
Goldar nodded and left, as Rita entered.
“Things are progressing well my evil husband. But if Ivan Ooze is alive, he
could ruin all of our plans.” Rita said.
“Yes I know, but I promise I am working on a way to make sure I remain in
control and Ivan is destroyed if he’s still alive. And the beauty of this plan is
that it will also bring the rangers to their knees...
A sinister smile broke out on my face, as I envisioned tortures for those
wretched do gooders. This time, no one would stop me. The Xett Empire
would finally rise and I will control not only the Earth, but the galaxy.

Will’s POV
I climbed into bed next to my beautiful wife. I smiled, as she cuddled close
to me. She was still beaming and she had been since she found out that
she was pregnant.
“You’re going to make such a wonderful father,” she told me. I smiled at
her.
“You’ll be the most amazing mother,” I said.
“Maybe this weekend, maybe we can start thinking about turning one of the
spare bedrooms into a nursery,” Kat suggested.
“I was going to suggest the same thing,” I replied.
“Great minds think alike,” Kat said, as she kissed me.
“Except we won’t be able to decide on any colors yet until we know
whether it’s a boy or a girl,” Kat mentioned.
“Yeah, we can decide that stuff when he or she gets here,” I replied.
“I love you Kat,” I said softly.
“I love you too Will, so much,” she replied passionately. I kissed her with a
series of short, sensual kisses as I lowered her onto her back. I stopped to
look at her for a moment. As always, I am amazed by her beauty as she
lay underneath me. I pin her under me, as I resume kissing her gently,
while slowly deepening the kiss.
Kat’s POV
I shiver in anticipation, as he begins to undress me from my nightgown. I
can’t help but writhe in pleasure underneath him, as he nips and kisses my
neck before slowly moving down. I moan, as I feel him enter me and begin
a slow, sensual rhythm. Every time he makes love to me, my body is lit on
fire by the love between us. We both climax after a lengthy building and
begin to come down from the incredible high. He wraps me in his arms and
holds me, as I lay atop his chest. He whispers words of love and comfort,
as we slowly drift to sleep in each other’s arms. I can’t help but be even
more worried now. Should whoever is abducting former rangers find out
that I’m pregnant, they could very well try to use us against Will. I shudder
at that though and cuddle in Will’s embrace, as I finally feel sleep
overtaking me.

The next morning
Tommy’s POV
I left early, allowing Connor and Ethan to come with Will, Rocky and
myself. We set out in two cars toward the rocky outskirts of Angel Grove. I
knew that visiting the power rangers’ first base of operations was
fascinating Ethan to no end. I am glad to have them along, as we have all
grown close to the younger former rangers. I just hope we can find
something we can use or something that will help us find out what’s going
on. As we arrived at the location, a pang of sadness washed over me as I
saw the pile of rubble that had once been our magnificent base. Will took
out some kind of scanner, as we climbed to the top of where the command
center’s exterior structure had once stood. I watched puzzlement and
shock cross Will’s features.
“What’s up?” I asked.
“There’s an awful lot of activity going on somewhere under us. And that’s
pretty strange considering that no one’s been here in almost eight years,”
Will replied.
“The question is, how do we get down there?” Rocky asked. Suddenly, the
ground under us began to shake and our feet became immobile. This
feeling was mighty familiar for Will, Rocky and me. Before I knew it, we
were plummeting underground as the rocks and surface beneath our feet
collapsed...

Kim’s POV
My cell phone rang and I picked up.
“Hello,” I answered.
“Hey Kim,” Kat answered.
“What’s up?” I asked.
“Not much, just some morning sickness. But that has passed and I’m
starving now. I was going to do some shopping, but first I though you and
Kira might like to join me for lunch since my husband is off on a mission
with the rest of the boys,” Kat said with a giggle.
“Sure, we’ll meet you at the mall in about ten,” I replied.
“Great, see ya then,” Kat replied, as she hung up. Kira and I headed out
and I fumbled with my car keys. We’ve both become good friends despite
our age differences. We both have a love for music and she recently
confided in me that she likes Connor even though sometimes he frustrates
her to no end. Suddenly, I realized that we were not alone, as several
figures in black surrounded us. My heart began to pound and I knew who
these people were. Kira and I were next on their list. I side-kicked an
oncoming foe, as Kira began to defend herself as well. I gasped, as I saw
Kira collapse, holding her head. I fruitfully attempted to keep them at bay,
but there were too many. My keys and cell phone fly out of my hands and
to the ground as my attackers subdue me. I feel pain in my head as things
started to go dark...

AN: Hope you liked it! I know this chapter just created more questions than
answered them, but I promise I will begin answering them in the future
chapters to come. I don’t want to say much more than that, because I have
a lot of surprises in store for the future. Thanks for reading and please
