Building & Training
A few hours later, the kids looking like young teenagers now all went outside of The TARDIS and looked around. “Come on kids”. The Doctor called.
The Doctor and Nicola showed the kids how to make fire and put up their tents.
After that they all went to sleep. The next day Nicola showed the girls how to make rope from stripping new bark shoots by plating them together. When they made enough the Doctor with the boys cut down some of the trees with an axe he made with sticks and sharp stones they found by the rivers edge. They made the foundations and floors and everything, (The Doctor taught them to read and write the night before) by midmorning they had nearly finished and were getting hungry. The Doctor told them to head down to the river, and they did. He showed them how to fish with spears and they caught enough fish to feed ten people.
Nicola taught the girls how to clean the fish and cook them proper.
After lunch they finished the hut with enough rooms for all of their children’s children the like.
Next the Doctor helped them make barns and sties and stables, for when the catch the animals they need for breeding.
When it turned nightfall, the teenagers were nearing adulthood and started kissing each other. “Kids, one rule for you, is wait abit longer”. Nicola said to them. “How much longer mum”? Charlie asked. “Three more days” The Doctor said to him. “You boys’ll have to sleep together until then”. Nicola said shooing them of to bed.
