The Note Part One
After school I travel up to Finn's last period class so I can get him and drive him home. When I get there Finn isn't waiting where he usually waits. Most of the time he tries to look like he's doing something, on his phone or whatever, so he won’t look like he's actually waiting for me. It's kinda cute.
I stick my head in the classroom.
"Hey, is Finn here?" I asked the few stragglers that were still packing up.
They looked around at each other. "No… we haven't seen him…"
I frowned. What?
I walked back down to the parking lot and to my car getting out my cell.
"Where the HELL are you?!" I bellowed the second he answered his side of the line.
"Puck?!" he screamed.
My heart began to race and my body tensed up rigidly. "What is it?! Where are you?!"
"I'm home," he said.
"Are you safe?!" I yelled.
"Puck I'm-"
"Are you safe?!" I yelled again.
"Yes!" he cried.
"Then why do you sound so scared?" I asked, adrenaline levels still uncomfortably high.
"Well I was," he said nervously. "So I went home early. I need you to come over okay; I need to tell you what happened. But when I do tell you you have to promise me you aren't going to freak out and kill someone okay?"
"This is bad enough that I might have to KILL someone?!" I shouted.
"Just come here okay?" he groaned.

When I got up to Finn's house I jumped out of my car and ran up to his door at top speed, wanting to bang his door down. I didn't have to though because as soon as I got there it was flung open and a fat squishy body was thrown into my arms.
"Whoa, whoa!!" I screamed trying to push it away. "Dude get off! …What the HELL…?! Dude, are you CRYING?!"
He WAS! Finn was crying and sobbing at the top of his lungs!
"Finn!" I shouted. "Finn, what the hell man…?"
"It said they would kill her!" he screamed in my ear. "It said they were gonna p- p- put knives in my belly!"
"What?!" I exploded, shaking his shoulders and pushing him inside of his house. He laid his head on my shoulder and cried more. "Finn, what happened?" I asked trying to calm myself but still trying to be firm. "Finny, tell me what happened."
"Here," it was his mom again.
I felt slightly strange holding her son in the middle of her foyer with her right there. But Finn stayed put and his mom handed me a piece of folded paper. A note.
I looked at his mother and she urged me to read it. As I did my eyes narrowed. I crushed the note in my hand.
"Who the hell wrote this?" I growled.
His mom shook her head. "We don't know but Finn's really upset."
"Well of course he's upset!" I snapped. "When I find out who wrote this I'll kill 'em!"
"No! No!" Finn sobbed. "Y- you promised!"
"And YOU didn't explain this over the phone!" I bellowed.
He whined and sobbed more.
"He was FINE before you showed up!" his mom hissed.
"He wanted me to come," I muttered, squeezing him tighter.
She sniffed. "I'm calling Figgins, you take him upstairs and have him lay down."
I nodded. "Come on Finn. Let's go upstairs."
