TITLE: The Contractor - Part 2
WARNING: Some graphic detail about a sexual assault attempt
RATING: R - Mature audiences only
CHARACTERS: Walter Skinner (of course), Secondary X-Files characters include Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
SUMMARY: Assistant Director Walter Skinner meets Maya Hernandez a sexy, younger woman, contracted in to assist the X-Files with a case. Lots of lovin and some X-Files story line just for good measure.

Chapter 9
Crystal City Skinner’s Apartment, Monday 5:00 AM
Maya awoke to the sound of the alarm clock. She feels Walter roll out of bed and hears the shower turn on a moment later. She rolls over to his side of the bed grabbing his pillow and buries her head into it taking in his scent. She thinks back to her life just the week before and how much has changed. She would have never believed that she would be waking up in an FBI Assistant Directors bed on a Monday morning after having discussed a possible future relationship with him the night before. Maya couldn’t believe that she had fallen for this man this fast. When they had returned back to Walters, the day before, they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. They spent that afternoon making love and talking and making love some more. She was amazed at the man’s stamina. Since she had been thrown into staying with him while the break in at her home was being investigated, they discussed using this time together to feel out the potential of a future relationship together. She remembered his reaction when she lay naked across his body telling him that she was crazy about him and had never felt this way about another man. The thought made her smile into his pillow breathing his scent in deeply again. Regretfully, she rolled out of bed and headed to the bathroom. As she entered the bathroom she heard a catcall whistle from the shower stall. This made her smile as she walked over to the sink to brush her teeth.
“Why don’t you bring that sexy ass of yours in here?” She heard him say. With toothbrush still in mouth she joined him in the shower.
Armed with soap in hand he gently and thoroughly lathered every inch of her body, spending extra time on his favorite assets. He was making her giggle as he came across her ticklish spots and couldn’t help repeating these areas just to hear her laugh. Who needs coffee when he could wake up to a laugh like that every morning? She stood on her tippy toes and reached her arms around his neck to give him his good morning kiss. He pulled her into him and lifted her slightly off the ground returning her kiss.
“Hi.” He said setting her down after kissing her, eyes attached to hers. This made her smile again.
“Hi.” She said in return and then she began to chuckle to herself.
“What so funny little girl.”
“Oh, just how disgusting we have become. People like us used to make me sick to my stomach.” At this his head went back as he burst out into a deep laugh.
They spent the rest of the morning developing their morning routine for the coming week. Skinner was pleased at how comfortable things went as they readied for the day ahead. For the first time in a long time he was incredibly happy.
FBI Headquarters – Computer Crimes Lab Monday 9:00 AM
Skinner was called out to attend a few meetings that morning leaving Maya with Mulder. He was having a hard time focusing on what was being said during this meeting with his mind continuously going back to the weekend he had had with Maya. It felt good to finally open up to her the day before about the feelings he was developing for her. Even though the morning had a rough start they managed to salvage the rest of the day in bed together. He couldn’t get enough of her and she didn’t seem to mind the attention. Forcing his thoughts back to the present it was going to be a long day ahead until he would be back in her arms.
After spending the first hour that morning filling Kim in on everything she had missed in the past couple of days, Maya headed to the lab where she was to meet up with Mulder to begin working on the third drive. She hadn’t discussed every detail with Kim but had filled her in on Walter asking her out, their connection and the break in that occurred at her place over the weekend. Kim didn’t let on but she was in awe at how fast her boss fell for this woman and was curious as to whether he would have a mood shift if things continued to go well between the two. They had agreed to meet for lunch so she could get more detail from the woman who was completely enamored with her boss.
“Oh, good morning Mulder, I didn’t expect you to be here so soon. I hope I didn’t keep you.” Maya said as she entered the lab.
“Just got here myself. How are you doing, after what happened this weekend?” Mulder asked, concerned.
“I’m ok now Mulder. Thank you for the concern. To be honest if Walter wasn’t around I don’t know what kind of mess I would be in.”
“You and Skinner getting on good then?”
Blushing slightly. “We are. He is really great.” Was all she could manage to say.
Mulder shook his head to acknowledge her and gave her a smile. The truth was he was happy for the Skin-man. He deserved some happiness in his life and maybe it would get him to loosen up on him a little, just maybe.
By noon Maya felt that she was making excellent progress on the third drive. She was so focused on what she was doing she hardly noticed Mulder in the room with her. For a second she thought that if it had been Walter sitting with her things probably would have been different. Before long her cell phone began to buzz and she realized it must be Kim ready for lunch.
“Hi Kim, are you ready to get out of here?
“Hi Maya, I am so ready but can you hold off until 12:30? I need to get a few files together for the Assistant Director.”
“Of course, no problem, I will be here.”
When she hung up, she sat back and looked over at Mulder who appeared to be transfixed in a game of World of Warcraft on his computer.
“Did you want to take off for lunch Mulder? We can lock the hard drive up while we are out.”
“Hmm? Oh, yeah sure. You going out?”
“Kim and I have plans to meet for lunch. We should be back by 2:00.”
Maya disconnected the hard drive and slid it over to Mulder. Mulder’s attention now back to the screen Maya couldn’t help but laugh to herself. She was surprised when her cell rang again thinking that maybe Kim had been able to get her work done sooner and was ready to go out.
Mulder heard Maya’s cell phone ring this time and assumed she was talking to the Skinners secretary Kim. Maya spoke on familiar terms with the person on the other end and Mulder thought nothing of it when she stood up to leave the lab. He also didn’t think anything of it when she left her purse behind and said, “Be right back Mulder.”
Assuming she had left for lunch, Mulder pulled himself away from the game and shut off his computer. He grabbed the hard drive on his way out of the lab as he headed out for lunch. At the moment Mulder stepped onto the elevator to head back down to the basement, Maya was being chloroformed and her unconscious body was being placed into the trunk of a vehicle in the adjoining parking garage. Her cell phone was tossed out a car window two blocks from the J. Edgar Hoover building.
