The room was dark and cold. When I woke up I felt stone under me. It was cold, dark and I felt hurt. My head hurt, my ribs were hurting. Shit I didn’t want to open my eyes.

Suddenly I opened my eyes because I have hurt a sigh from the other end of the room. Shit I wasn’t even alone in hell. Why do have things like this happen to me all the time?

Another sigh. I couldn’t get up. I let my hands glide over the my ribcage and every moment my hand left the bruised flesh, I felt the pain running through my body. God it hurt. Have I ever been hurt like that?

I don’t know how long it took me but somehow I managed to get into the sitting position and I let my back rest against the cold stone wall. My eyes were most of the time closed. Breathing hurt more than ever before and my belly was empty. I don’t know how long I have been here or how long I haven’t eaten something.

Slowly my eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room. It wasn’t as dark as I thought it would be. But still dark. There was just a soft neon spot on the ceiling.

There was another sigh from the other end of the room. I tried to concentrate on the person. But I just saw a black puddle on the floor. I saw a ribcage moving with every breath and noticed that this person must be in the same pain as I was. Shit – two people in pain in a dark room was really Centre like. But why would the Centre imprison me?

Maybe it took me ten minutes but it could also have been an hour, I don’t know. Maybe longer. My watch wasn’t there nor anything else to look at. When I was standing I leaned against the wall. I was breathing hard. Every part of my body was hurting.

I looked down on myself. I was wearing my black slacks and the cashmere shirt – things I remember and my high heels of course. I couldn’t go on a chase without them.

With tiny steps I moved to the other end of the room. Very tiny ones. My head felt somehow dizzy and my body wouldn’t make bigger ones – I knew my body. Believe me.

I couldn’t see the man’s face. At least I knew that it was a man. He was just wearing snug black cotton boxer shorts and a black t-shirt. I couldn’t see his face because it was in the absolute dark.

She couldn’t lean down without feeling dizzy. What had happened and who is this man?

I can't remember how long I was standing there but I know that I would have to check on this man. I couldn’t just lay him there.

While I was standing and concentrating on not falling down again I searched through the room. On the one side was a small wash basin and a toilette and on the opposite side, near where I was standing now, was a bed.
Than there was a small window on top of the right wall, the one I had leaned at and opposite this one, so left from me, was a door. It looked like solid iron. It just had a small gab and under this gab was a small bowl of rice and some other foot I couldn’t identify. Is tos too dark and I was too dizzy.
