A Hot Spring Birthday
    Summary: For her 23rd birthday, our little
rock chick gets a bit of a surprise.... Rex/Suzi pairing.

    The morning was warm, a light sprinkle of dew
covering the idol grounds. Today seemed like every other day, excluding the fact
that the 4 remaining idols were going on a short camping trip. Melissa and Aaron
came from downstairs toting their bags. Rex was already seated in the large
chair by the TV, his bags already sitting near the front door. Suzi's bags were
also at the front door, though she was in the kitchen, leaning on the counter
drinking a glass of milk. They seemed like they were ready to go.
    " Is everyone ready?" Aaron called out, ready
to head out the front door. The idols flocked towards the convertible car,
shoving their bags in the trunk. Suzi hopped into the driver's seat, putting on
a pair of thick sunglasses. Rex sat in shotgun, while Melissa and Aaron piled
into the back. With a final check, Suzi pulled out of the driveway, taking a few
turns and hitting the open highway.
    " Hey Rex, do me a favour and put something
good in sound system." Suzi directed, handing Rex a beat up case of CDs, which
was covered in stickers of rock bands. He flipped through, finally finding one
he liked.
    " Here we go...." Rex mumbled as he pushed
'Ride the Lightning' by Metallica into the sound system. It began booming
throughout the car. Suzi reached over, cranking up the volume to roughly 7. Now
they could hear it over the road noises. After a few hours of driving and a
pointless conversation about the world paraphernalia, they took a side road off
into a small clearing, in which they parked and began hiking northwards. Rex was
in the lead, giving warnings to small dents or drops in the path. But soon
after, they reached a crossroad.
    " So....... what should we do?" Melissa
asked, peering down the left pathway. Aaron leaned over her shoulder, trying to
see through the tunnel-like darkness.
    " I say we split up. As long as we're back
here by tomorrow at supper, it's all good. I'll head with Melissa, you guys take
the right-handed path. Remember, by supper, otherwise we'll assume you've been
eaten by pygmies." Aaron laughed out, heading to the left with Melissa. Suzi
blinked.
    " Pygmies, eh? Well, I suppose that would be
a horrible fate... Let's get moving, find a good place to camp out." Suzi
laughed out, starting down the right road. Rex smirked to himself, following her
deep into the pathways. They stopped when the reached what seemed to be a
straight drop down. Suzi kneeled down in the mud, peering over the edge.
    " Well, there's a really small pathway, about
halfway down, but we need to find something to use as a safe line... Any ideas?
" Suzi explained, standing back up and dusting off the knees of her jeans. Rex
looked around, and spotted a thick vine dangling down from a tree. He walked
over to it, and yanked hard. It leaned over the edge, and dropped down onto a
small platform-like boulder.
    " Here, this should do. I'll go first, to
check it." Suzi nodded, and watched intently as Rex descended the side of the
drop, stepping down easily. Suzi was next, slowly climbing down. She reached the
bottom beside Rex, though it took slightly longer because of her height and
reach. The two exchanged a glance, and then began following the paths down into
the forest's depths. Suzi ducked under a few branches, and they came upon a
small clearing, which contained and oddly placed pedestal of stone. Suzi wiped
off the top of it with her arm, gazing at the strange thing.
    " Well, this is kind of odd.... Must be
something that the natives put up, like a totem. Ah well, let's keep going, I'm
getting the creeps already." Rex said from his post behind Suzi, leaning over
her shoulder. She looked up, and laughed.
    " You have a booger." Rex slapped his hand
over his nose, while Suzi laughed and continued down through the forest. Rex
followed, though slightly behind. Suddenly, Suzi dropped out of sight with a
shriek. Rex ran closer, and found Suzi in a large hole, taller than she was.
    " Are you alright?" He called down. She
looked up, an almost pissed off look on her face.
    " Someone set up traps, and I just fell in
one! I'm okay, but it reeks down here of rotting meat." She called up. Rex
offered his hand down, letting Suzi climb up to his neck before he yanked her
back out of the hole. Suzi slowly got up, shaking her head to clear her hair of
any dirt chunks. She pulled it back into a loose ponytail, and looked around
apprehensively. Rex laughed.
    " Now you're paranoid." Rex joked, continuing
around the hole through the path. Suzi followed, keeping a watchful eye on the
surroundings. Suddenly, Rex stopped. Suzi peered around him, and gasped.
    There were bones of different animals
littering the pathway, some with flesh still rotting on it. But, the problem
wasn't the animals. It was the human bones that were placed in grave fashion,
flesh and sinew still clinging to the decaying bones. Rex nearly took a step
back.
    " This isn't good, Suzi. We better find
somewhere safe to camp, and soon. I've got a really bad feeling about this..."
Suzi nodded, and they stepped around the bones. Rex kept close to Suzi,
sub-consciously entangling his fingers in her smaller hand. Had he been in his
normal mood, he would have noticed the blush crawling across her face. They
continued in silence, though it began to weigh heavily on their shoulders, as
every creak and chirp sent them closer to going bonkers. So, to break the
tension, Suzi began to hum to herself, just a little tune, nothing much. This
relaxed their nerves slightly, though they continued to stick close. Until....
    *shlurk* *crunch* *YIKE*
    Until they stepped in what appeared to be a
giant puddle of snot. Suzi lifted her foot up, the greenish goo sticking to her
boot.
    " GROSS!!!" She yelped, leaping over the rest
of the puddle. Rex made a face of disgust, and followed in suite of Suzi. They
continued walking, though their footsteps were accompanied by a *splursh*
*splosh* noise. Finally, they came to safe clearing, directly beside a hot
spring. Suzi looked down into it, then began setting up camp with Rex.
One Hour Later
    Suzi and Rex sat quietly, both staring at the
hot spring with a longing look.
    " I say we go in." Rex announced, standing
up.
    " I didn't bring swim attire." Rex shrugged,
already stripping off his shirt. Suzi attempted to look away, though it was
proving hard.
    " Well, swim nude." That was NOT the right
thing to say at this point it time.
    " WHAT?!?!?!? ARE YOU SUGGESTING-" Suzi was
about to yell, but Rex put a finger on her lip.
    " Oh, come now, that's not what I meant. We
can both look different ways and it'll all be good. Besides, the water is too
murky to see below it anyway, so it won't be as bad as you think it will.
Please, it'll be different. 'Sides, we both stink like rotting meat." Suzi tried
to think of a way in her mind to argue, but just sighed, turning to look away
from the spring.
    " Alright, go in, then look away." Rex
laughed, and quickly dropped all his clothing into a pile, splashing into the
spring. Little did he know that Suzi had a look from over her shoulder. Why
does he have to be so hot???? She asked herself as she neared the spring.
    " Okay, my eyes are closed." Rex called out,
leaning on the side of the spring. Suzi checked his eyes, and began removing her
tank top, tossing it at her feet. She tried to be as quick as possible, though
that's hard when you've got a billion different little pieces of jewelry.
Finally, she was done, quickly slipping neck deep in the boiling water.
    " Done." Rex opened his eyes, and stared
through the steam at Suzi. She was leaning on a large flat stone jutting from
the spring, invisible from the neck down. He leaned back like a lazy cat, the
water line just below his belly button. Suzi quickly averted her eyes, but
couldn't help but steal a glance. Or two, or maybe three. Okay, so she stared,
but you can't blame her, right? Rex noticed her stare, and leaned back into the
water up to his chest.
    " So, is this not the best or what?" Suzi
snapped out of her stare, and nodded.
    " It's pretty good. Nice on the back
muscles." Suzi answered, running a hand through her hair, which was now left
long. Rex eyed her, noticing that he could see her chest nearly rising out of
the water when she lifted her arm. Suzi put her arm back in the water, and
closed her eyes, leaning back. Rex did the same, though he looked at the sky, as
it was beginning to get dark.
    " Suzi, I have a question.... Do you like
night or day better?" Suzi opened her eyes, and raised an eyebrow.
    " Hmm, good question. My father loved the day
light, he was a military guy. I remember once he came in my room, and I was
pretty tired, and yelled 'You're wasting Daylight' and the sun wasn't even up
yet. But my mother loved the night, she was quite the drinker. I think I like
night, but I'm leaning towards sunset." Suzi replied, trying to reason out her
own thoughts. Little did she know that Rex was steadily getting closer. She
sighed, looking over to the camp. Rex leaned up beside her, sneaking an arm
around her shoulder. She yelped, and nearly pulled away.
    " Hi." Rex said bluntly, a grin on his face.
Suzi couldn't help but giggle, though the rational side of her brain was telling
her to move. She looked up into his eyes, and was nearly lost for words.
    " When were you born?" Rex asked slowly,
guiding Suzi to lean on his chest. She blinked.
    " Interesting question for a situation like
this... I was born on the 31st of August, in the late hours of the night...."
Suzi trailed off, not being able to take her eyes off of Rex's face. More
specifically his lips.
    " I love the night. It's dark, it's quiet...
And it's sensual..." Rex mumbled, leaning his face down to Suzi. Her eyes were
beginning to drift shut, and they closed completely as he started a long kiss,
invading her mouth with his tongue. She leaned up into him, placing her hands on
his chest. Rex wrapped his arms around her, rubbing her back with his calloused
fingers. They broke the kiss soon after, though they stayed looking into each
other's eyes.
    " Wow...... I...." Rex laughed at Suzi's
stunned reaction, and then realized an important factor. She was only waist deep
in the water now, and practically on top of him.
    " So..... Am I allowed to continue?" He
asked, leaning Suzi's back against the flat rock, still lurking close to her
face. She leaned her forehead against his, staring into his eyes.
    " I shouldn't let you do this.............But
I will........ And I'll probably regret it big time later." Rex laughed, and
began kissing her again, trailing them to her jaw bone and neck. He was fueled
by a small noise of content she made as he continued lower to her collar bone,
suckling the smooth flesh. Suzi entangled her fingers in his hair, her breaths
becoming shorter and more frequent as he dipped lower to her voluptuous breasts. She let

one you're totally in love with." Suzi smiled, brushing some loose hair from
Rex's face. She wrapped her arms around his neck.
    " I'm not arguing with that...... I'm just
wonder if that is going to fit........." Rex burst into laughter, leaning his
face into Suzi's shoulder.
    " I'll go slow, so you can adjust." He
reassured, running his hand over her smooth stomach. Rex quickly positioned
himself over her glistening area, looking deep into her eyes for signs of
discomfort. There were none, so he slowly penetrated her folds, slipping his
long shaft deep within her, producing a loud moan from the woman below him. Rex
began pumping slowly into Suzi, bracing his arms on the rock. She met his

    He sped up slowly, then remembered something

open though when they heard cheers and clapping from just outside the hot
spring. They both looked there, and gasped, dropping neck deep into the hot
spring. Melissa and Aaron laughed hysterically, waving to the couple.
    " We leave you guys alone for a couple hours
and look what happens! Congrats, you've officially been busted!" Aaron called
out. Suzi's eyes were the size of dish plates, and Rex was still confused.
    " How long have you been there?" Rex asked.
Melissa laughed.
    " Oh, about a minute, long enough to see you
guys all cuddly up there. We're setting up camp here too, and when we heard the
scream, we thought you guys might have been attacked." She explained, laughing
into her hand. Suzi's eye twitched.
    " Can you do us a favour, and give us a
couple minutes? Without spying..............." Suzi said flatly. Aaron and
Melissa nodded and left the hot spring, laughing loudly. Suzi groaned.
    " Oh man, this is not good, their going to
tell everybody that I'm easy........" She sighed, leaning back into Rex. He
shook his head.
    " Nah, they might tell that we did it, but
you're not easy. It took coaxing and some good tongue work." Suzi laughed,
turning around to look at Rex's face.
    " Well, you are right about that..... You
better call me, or I'll have to whoop your ass." Suzi laughed out, poking Rex in
the chest. He laughed, giving a mischievous grin.
    " Oooh, sounds like fun. Do I get a paddle?"
Suzi rolled her eyes, wading away from Rex to the side of the hot spring. They
got dressed pretty fast, but stopped when they neared camp.
    " We are sooo going to get teased for
this......." Rex laughed at Suzi's comment, leaving a long, lingering kiss on
her lips.
    " Ah well, at least we get teased together."
Suzi was suddenly struck with an idea. She picked up a clump of dirt, and
slapped it on the top of Rex's head, smearing it in. She then did the same with
her own head.
    " What's this for?" Rex asked, a questioning
look on his face. Suzi smiled brightly up at him.
    " Oh look, we're dirty again. We're going to
have to take another bath!" Suzi laughed out, dragging Rex back to the hot
spring.
    Needless to say, they didn't return to camp
for a while.
