Aaron Hotchner sat in his office. He wasn't sure what time it was, he knew it was late. too late for him to still be there. His eyes were beginning to hurt. The words he was reading were beginning to bleed off the page. He threw the case file on his desk and loosened the tie around his neck. Lately, it had begun to feel like a noose. He heard rustling in the bullpen. Instinctively he reached for his gun and crossed his office to the window. He peered through the blinds to see Dr. Spencer Reid flipping through a book at his desk. He could have sworn everyone had gone home. Especially after the last case they had been on, why would Reid be here? Hotch opened his door and stared at Reid for a moment. He was wearing jeans and a button down shirt that he had neglected to button the top two buttons of. His hairless chest seemed to glow in the florescent lights of the bullpen.
"Reid, what are you doing here?" The young doctor jumped in his seat sending the massive book he was reading clattering to the floor. "Jesus Hotch! I didn't even know you were here! Why didn't you go home?" " I could ask you the same thing." the supervisor chuckled as he helped Reid pick up the book. " I went home actually. But I got bored and decided to come back here and do some reading." Hotch sat on Reid's desk and glanced at the title of the book. " The Sexual Body? Doesn't seem like your normal reading Spencer." Hotch said with a raised eyebrow. Reid blushed. He grabbed the book and tried to put it in his bag. " Research..I guess." Reid smiled. Hotch looked Reid up and down. Ever since Hailey died he had been experimenting with his sexuality. He had beginning to notice the young doctor in a whole different light. " Maybe I could show you a thing or two."
