It was a rather glorious day on the Star-ship Enterprise. They were playing host to a very important guest. A princess from a very powerful planet was sent by her parents for they wished to her to sign a treaty. A treaty that would make her people and the Federation allies. Now her people were not violent by any means, but their powers were so incredible that they could destroy a whole planet with a blink of an eye if they wished. But they felt no reason to use their powers for evil, rather they wished to put it to good use. Captain Picard was glad that the princess of this very powerful race was arriving, that perhaps peace in the galaxy could truly happen. Granted galaxy wide peace may take a while, but maybe it was this stone in the pond that would cause a ripple for others to do the same. As he made sure his uniform was without wrinkles or bunches Picard exited his chambers. He was to meet the princess when she transported from her vessel which was about to be in a few minutes.

It seemed everyone on the ship was very excited to meet their new guest. A princess who's beauty they say is indescribable. Her generosity was said to be more than gracious. And her powers, were unparalleled to anything they have ever seen. The transporter room was almost packed with people that wanted to welcome the princess. From Picard and his crew, to children of those stationed on the Enterprise. Even Guinan the hostess of 10-Forward was present. She thought it was wonderful that this was going to happen and she didn't want to miss it. Standing close to the transporter was Commander Riker, Lt. Worf, Mr. La Forge, Picard and of course Lt. Commander Data. Data was very interested in meeting this princess. Though he did not really have emotions, he did have curiosity. Riker glanced over at Data who seemed to have a curious expression on his pale-gold features. Smiling he wondered what made him have this look.

“Hey Data, are you ok?” he asked.

Data shifted his gaze to Riker and nodded.” I am indeed Commander, why do you ask?”

Chuckling Riker folded his arms and replied” Well you seem to have a curious expression on your face I was wondering what you were thinking about.”

Data responded “ I am curious to meet this princess. One that has beauty that cannot described, her generous nature, and her powers that are said to be able to destroy a planet with an instant. I do suppose that would make any one curious would it not sir? I do believe that is why the transporter room is so full, all of us want to meet her.” Riker nodded.”Indeed Data that is why we are all here. “ Riker said as he got a tap on the shoulder from Deanna Troi the ships counselor.

Riker turned around and said.”Yes what is it Deanna?” he asked curiously. Deanna folded her arms, she could sense what he was feeling at the moment. “William, you are having strong emotions... yet you have not meet this princess... tell me why did you come to see her arrive?” Troi questioned.

Riker shrugged.” I am curious to meet this princess that is said to be all these things. Isn't that why we are all here?” he asked.

Deanna shook her head. “Everyone else maybe, but you seem to like the women a little too much … I wonder if you came to see if what they said of her beauty was true. “ Deanna remarked as she arched a brow.
Riker knew he couldnt deny it but, he just said.”Well maybe yes, but the important thing is the treaty not her looks.”

A communication came over loud and clear as someone told them the status of the princess. “We are ready to beam up now. We have the princess ready when you are. “ the escort team said. Picard nodded.” We shall beam you up in a moment. Mr. La Forge please beam them back.” He instructed.
“Aye sir.” Geordi replied as he went over to the controls and nodded.”Ready to beam up.” he said as he pushed a few buttons. Within moments, five glittery figures arrived. Four were those of the crew one was that of the lovely princess. Once they were fully formed, everyone's mouths were agape. It was true, the princess was truly beautiful, yet that wasn't the correct word, No words could describe how lovely she was. Her hair was a beautiful jet black color that seemed to shine. Her hair went all the way past her waist, it was tied at the top with a silver clasp. Her eyes were as green as emeralds. And her skin was fair it was a lovely olive color. Her dress was silvery and very flowing. She wore a silver crown that went across her forehead, that extended all away around. It had a red jewel in the middle that seemed to shine. Though she felt as if her beauty wasn't that important. Picard shook his head as he went to greet their new guest. “Welcome Princess Robinlina. I am Captain Jean-Luc Picard, welcome to the Enterprise. “ he greeted as he extended his hand to help her from the transporter. She let her hand slip into his as she stepped down from the platform.

Robinlina nodded and smiled.”I thank you for having me Captain, it is an honor to be here to sign a treaty that I hope will bring great peace. “ She said simply. “And please call me Robin, no need for formalities Jean-Luc.. That is alright? That I call you by your first name?” She asked. Picard nodded. “Of course Princes-- I mean yes Robin it is indeed alright. “ Picard smiled. Robins eyes scanned over all the people that were in the room. Her green hues looked over everyone until her eyes feel on a pale-gold skinned man. “Jean-Luc, may I ask who that man is over there?” she asked pointing to Data. Picard answered . “Oh let me introduce you.” He said leading her to him.”Princess Robin, this is Lt. Commander Data. “ Picard said introducing him. Data looked at the lovely princess, and though he never felt emotions really felt something when he was in the presence of this princess. Robin smiled and extended her hand to him.”A pleasure to meet you Data. I am very honored to meet you. I hear you are the only android in Star-Fleet.. That is very impressive. “ Said Robin warmly. Data for once was for a loss of words. It took him a moment before he replied. He took her hand in his gold one and nodded. “And it is an honor to meet you Princess. It seems the reputation you have proceeds you. You are indeed very kind. “Data replied. He still had her hand within his before he let it go he turned her hand so it was facing him as he leaned down and kissed her hand. It seemed the right thing to do seeing how she was a princess. Robin smiled as blush came to her cheeks.”It seems you have a charmer on on your crew Jean-Luc. I would hang onto Data.” Robin said with a smile. Data leaned up and looked at the princess. “ I hope I can see more of you Data.” Robin added as she looked at Jean-Luc. Picard cleared his throat as he lead the princess to her temporary chambers. Everyone else just looked at Data in shock but some were smiling and cheering Data on. Slowly the room filed out. Everyone seemed rather happy well even more so that the princess was here. La Forge looked at Data as he patted him on the back. Data didn't understand but he decided there were a lot of things he did not comprehend.

Everyone went back to their normal spots as there was a sense of peace on the Enterprise. Picard lead the princess to her chambers. “I do hope you enjoy your stay. It is not very often we get royalty on our ship. Please if you need anything at all, please let us know. “Picard stated. Robin smiled.”Everyone has been so kind to me. I think I shall be fine, I may change though. Is there any where on board where I may get a drink.?” she asked. Picard nodded.”Well there is a replicator in your quarters but if you need something more, we do have the 10-Forward lounge area. “Picard replied. Robin nodded.”Perhaps that is were I will go. I thank you captain for having me as a guest. “ she said as she entered her quarters. A slow sigh escaped her lips as she looked around. This was rather nice she thought. A nice serene like area for her to relax in. Her bags were already brought by her guards her parents insisted she have protection. She wasn't sure from who. Everyone seemed so nice and kind, but she couldn't argue with her parents. Though she wondered why she was chosen. Yes she was a princess but her mother was a Queen, a ruler of their entire planet. Shrugging she decided she was picked for a reason. As she opened up her suitcases most of the clothes inside were dresses. “Ugh... mother.” she muttered. She didnt care for dresses much, but her mother said that since was royalty on a mission of peace, dresses would be more appropriate. She shifted through all her gowns till she came to one that was less well flashy. She changed into a burgundy red one that seemed to show off her very good looking figure. It was made of silk and it showed her very perfect curves. It wasn't as flowing as the other one, rather it looked like a dress one may wear at a dinner party. She took off most of her jewelry except her crown. She wore a silver ring on her right hand that her grandfather gave her. “Well I think I need the something more...” she uttered. She exited her room and went to the turbo-lift. “Take me to Ten-Forward please.” she said to the computer. The computer beeped as it took her to where she wanted to go. When the doors opened, she walked and went into Ten-Forward. She smiled it seemed to be such a relaxing area. Though when she walked in she noticed everyone looking at her again. She supposed she should be used to this by now, but she truly didn't understand why she was considered a beauty beyond words. Taking a seat at the counter she saw Guinan. Dressed in a dark purple garment with a large hat upon her head. Guinan smiled.” What may I get for you Princess Robin?” asked Guinan. Robin thought for a moment.”Something strong, anything really. Surprise me.” Robin said with a smile. “Something strong. Are you alright?” Guinan asked. She was from race of listeners so thus she liked to listen. Robin chuckled a little.” No I'm fine I suppose royal life isnt as easy as some think.” Robin sighed as she looked at Guinan. “Well I think all the people sees the glamor and the wealth, not many think it takes a a lot to rule a kingdom let alone a planet.” Guinan said. With her last words she brought up a medium sized glass, and poured a purple liquid into it. “Here you are, this stuff is pretty strong. “Guinan said as she handed it to Robin. “Well that's good. Thank you.” Robin replied as she was able to drink it all in one sip. Arching a brow Guinan had never seen anyone drink that stuff without coughing up a storm. Yet this princess did it in one gulp.”Mmm that is good. It has a kick to it. May I have more please.” she said. Guinan nodded.”Sure. I just never seen anyone do that. That sort of thing has knocked grown men on their behinds. “ Guinan replied. Robin chuckled.”Well the wine we have at home is 40 times more potent than what I just drank. Perhaps its because my kind can tolerate things that normal people cant. “ She said with a shrug. Guinan handed her her next drink. This time Robin sipped it.

Her mind seemed to drift to Data, the kind android that had kissed her hand earlier. Glancing to the other side of the room she saw Data and Riker talking. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she looked at Guinan. “Something on your mind?” She asked. Robin looked at Guinan. “It seems I have met the perfect man... Hes Data … the android... he is so perfect. “ she breathed as she seemed a little love sick. “I mean I know hes an android and from what I understand he has no human emotions... but there is something about him that is... amazing.” she said as she took another sip of her drink. Guinan smiled.”Well he has that effect on women. Data is kind and curious. He so wants to be human, he aspires to become it. Yet some of us wish we could be more like him. Sometimes emotions can hinder us more than help.”Guinan replied. Robin looked at Data as she placed her head on her hand. The princess then glanced back at Guinan as her happy expression changed.” Even if he was human.... I wouldn't be able to be with him... my parents wish me to marry a suitor... a prince. They want me to do this on my 30^th birthday... that is in two weeks. They say that if we become allies with them, that would make a big difference. But I don't know if I could marry someone I didn't love. “ Robin expressed sadly. Guinan nodded.”Yes that could be hard. “ she replied. Picking up her glass, Robin finished her drink.”Well I must be off, I hear we are stopping off at a planet to get some supplies and such. I hope I can perhaps take a walk and clear my head. “ Robin said. “Thank you for the talk. It really helped.”Robin said as she walked and went to her chambers.

The next day, Robin was up and dressed in another elegant garment. This one looked like something a Greek goddess would wear. It was white with gold trim. She placed her crown upon her head as she made sure everything was in its proper place. She exited her room where she met Commander Riker.”Oh Princess, I am glad I bumped into you. Would you follow me to the bridge please?” he asked. Robin nodded.”Of course commander lead the way. “Robin replied. She followed the handsome Commander Riker as they took the turbo-lift to the bridge. Picard smiled.”Hello Princess Robin, did you sleep well?” he inquired. Robin nodded.” I did indeed Jean-Luc. I am told I am needed here? She asked.

Picard nodded.”Yes actually. We are about to beam down to the plant we have named Alpha 2255. Not much of a name but it does work for now. Anyway, it is a rather beautiful planet, and I am sure you would like to perhaps take a stroll on the surface. If you would like to do so, I can assign someone to you. I know you have guards but your parents said that if you have one of my crew with you, they may stay behind. “ Picard explained. Robin smiled, this would be the chance to be with Data. “Yes I think I would enjoy that. My guards are rather... well they are not good company, they think everything's a threat. I would be fine with having one of your officers with me. May I request which one I would like to have accompany me?” She asked. Picard of course nodded.”But of course who would you like to go with you?” he asked. All the men in the room hoped it was them. From Riker, to La Forge to Wesley Crusher. She made it seem like she was thinking until she said. “I would be honored if Lt. Commander Data would accompany me.” Robin finally said. There was a hushed wave of disappoint in the men at that moment. Wesley sighed. “Man why not me. “ he uttered. His mother happened to be standing next to him.”Shut up Wesley..” she whispered.

Data looked at the princess and stood. “It would be an honor to accompany you princess. “ Data said simply. Picard looked at all the sad expressions on the faces of his male crew members. “Well then we shall see you in a few hours Princess Robin, do enjoy your time on the planet. “ Picard said as he looked at everyone.”Well lets continue with our work.” Picard spoke in a commanding voice. Data lead the princess to the transporter room. La Forge was in there when he saw the princess with Data. “We are going to the surface Geordi. Could you beam us down please?” Data asked. Geordi nodded. “Sure no problem.” he responded as he pressed a button and they were beamed down to the plant. Once they materialized on the surface, Robin smiled as she felt the cool air caress her face. Data looked at her as she looked over at him.” I thank you for being my escort Data. “ she said to him as they began to walk. The planet was very lush. It had many meadows, trees and flowers. It was a very nature infused planet. The air smelled sweet of honeysuckle and other wonderful things. As she walked with Data they began to have a very enjoyable conversation. From ships to books it seemed they had a bit in common. The princess had picked up a few flowers as they walked. She had put them in a small basket she had brought. Data looked at her curiously. Wishing he had emotions. It seemed many were envious of him when he was picked to escort her. It seemed like time had flown by, because they only had a limited time now til they had to be back. “I wish we didn't have to leave.”Robin uttered in almost a hushed tone. “Its so peaceful here, and the company is also wonderful. “ she added as she stopped and looked at Data. Her green hues stared into his gold ones. She felt her cheeks burn with blush for the moment as she looked at Data. Data tilted his head to the side as he looked at her. “Yes indeed it is a lovely planet. Perhaps.... after the ceremony for the treaty is over, perhaps we can return.”Data simply said. He looked around and saw a lovely yellow flower in the grass. He bent down and picked it. He felt the slim stem between his fingers as he looked at Robin. “Though this flower pales in comparison with your beauty, I hope you will accept it. “ He said to her. She smiled at Data.”It is lovely Data, thank you. “Data stepped closer to her as he placed it gently into her hair. “Well I think its time to contact the Enterprise it is about time to go back.”Data said as he went to press the badge on his chest he heard a voice that made him stop cold.

“Well, well, well.... “ a familiar voice sneered. Data looked to see someone he thought he would never see again. “Its been too long Data... surprised to see me?” the person said with a smirk. Robin looked at Data and asked ”Data.... Data who is this...” her voice sounded rather nervous. Robin was a little confused, this man looked very much like Data.

Data keep this eyes locked to those that were similar to his. “This is my brother... Lore..” Data said as he stood in front of the princess. Data had no idea how Lore was alive, but he knew this was not going to be good and he had to make sure that the princess would be protected. With Lore around he knew that would be difficult.
