Beached
Thwump, the TARDIS had landed. Not at Heathrow I bet, Tegan thought but kept it to herself this time. They had just escaped from 1660’s London - in flames. Gazing around her companions she studied all three of them and felt like a loose end: Adric, well, he was a snot nosed brat that was certain, but - well, he was HER snot nosed brat and she knew deep down inside she would die for him if necessary. Nyssa, on the other hand, was far from being either a brat or snot nosed. Beautiful, calm, gentle and kind - compassionate despite what she had been through. A truer friend Tegan never had in her life. Nyssa could spout complicated scientific terms like Tegan could ride a bike. Then the man between them. Handsome, blond haired, youthful, exuberant and charming: A man she had come to like and respect. A man she did not even have a name for yet cared for her Planet so much. The Doctor quickly glanced up as if he felt Tegan’s gaze on him.“Are you all right, Tegan?” he asked.“Just wondering …”“Wondering what?” he scowled.Slowly she walked up to the Trio and looked into his eyes: “Why I’m here? I mean,” she sighed glancing down: “Both Adric and Nyssa has mathematical and scientific prowess I can barely dream of. YOU can shift and change your appearance when you are about to die and carry on living. Adric has amazing curative powers. Nyssa has strength and solidity - me?” she gazed back up into his eyes. “I’m just a glorified waitress!” with that she turned on her heel and walked out of the room.“Don’t you want to know where we are?” he asked. No reply! The Doctor frowned and set aside his notes: “What’s got into her?” “She’s feeling like the Alien, Doctor!” Nyssa exclaimed. “She is wrong though - she has abilities - like speaking that odd tongue she did. What did you call it again, Doctor?”“Aborigine!”“I cannot speak another language!” Adric exclaimed. “Never needed to learn on Alzarius!”“Sounded quite complicated yet she spoke it like she was a native - that is not the only thing,” Nyssa glanced at the doors, “she tried her best to navigate this ship when we were otherwise occupied! You should not have told her she did not really do it, Doctor!”“Why?”“Because it made her feel useful!”“Oh I’ll go talk to her,” the Doctor sighed.Shaking her head Nyssa stayed him by his arm: “I’LL go and talk to her!”With that Nyssa left Adric and The Doctor to find out where they had landed: “A beach,” the Doctor said. “A tropical planet, Safyre - oh only photosynthetic life forms - will be very warm, Adric. You may want to shed the clothes … yes you can keep the star!”“Doctor,” Adric sighed, “do not tell her I told you this but … I do actually like Tegan. I would not wish any harm to come to her.”“No, Adric, of course you don’t!”After that Adric went to the extensive wardrobe to find something more befitting a beach. The Doctor’s concession was to loose the cricket jumper. Edwardians wore these clothes to the beach and that is what he was in essentials. Why had Tegan suddenly told him that - it made him think that something deeper was behind the comment. Something he had not managed to delve into. There were occasions when he wished he could be more like the Master - he would know what it was about. The Master? The Doctor wondered if he HAD managed to escape his own Trap? Minutes later Nyssa reappeared: “She is in floods of tears,” she reported. “It’s heartbreaking Doctor. There’s something she wants to tell me but - for some reason, she can’t.”“What?”“Something she is ashamed of that is for certain. Doctor, I love Tegan, you do too in your own way I know that too, is there anything that would make you hate her?”“Of course not, Nyssa! Why would you say that?”Shrugging she turned to look at the VDU screen: “Where have we landed, Doctor?” she wanted to change the subject. They were rare, the times she and The Doctor were left alone. “Tropical part of the Planet Safyre.”“Hot then?”“Yes!”“I best ask Tegan for advice on what to wear - all I know are these …” she flapped her arms wide and slapped them back to her sides. “IF Tegan is receptive.”The Doctor nodded: “Do what you think is right?”“Any dangers we should know about, Doctor?” Nyssa asked.“None that the TARDIS can detect. Plant life, that is all.”“Good!”Adric had bumped into Nyssa holding some items in his hands to show the Doctor, absent mindedly he nodded and Adric went to his room to change.“A beach you say?” Tegan asked wiping some tears away from her eyes: “Might be the ticket!”“Ticket?” Nyssa asked.“Restorative - Earth Slang!”“What a curious language Earthian is - so many differences for meaning the same thing!”Rinsing her face in the basin Tegan took Nyssa’s hand and led her to the wardrobe: “You will boil in those clothes - this calls for serious exposure of skin,” riffling through, Tegan found items of swimwear and matched them up to Nyssa’s frame. “That is immoral that much on display, surely?” Nyssa asked.“How old are you, Nyssa?”“18!” Nyssa said.“You’re old enough, In most countries on my Planet, you’d have had a very intimate relationship or two behind you already AND can get drunk on a nightly basis!”“We’re on a Planet called Safyre!”A smile was Tegan’s reply as she she chose an outfit for herself. Nyssa glared at the things Tegan had given to her with horror! “I’ll help you!” Tegan laughed. “Just get out of those velvet things,” she turned to shelves: “Sunglasses. Excellent!”Half an hour later Nyssa was glaring at her reflection in her mirror in her bedchamber with Tegan standing behind her: “Are … are you sure, Tegan?”A little feathery kiss met Nyssa’s cheek: “Positive - put the dress on over the top and we’ll give those boys a bit of a surprise eh?”Gulping, Nyssa nodded. Deciding to allow herself to be guided by Tegan. It seemed beach life is what Tegan knew best.“You do not think it is too much flesh!”“Nope,” Tegan said. “When we’ve made our big reveal I will be on the hunt for other things. We’re on holiday and I am going to make the most of it!”Giggling Nyssa placed the sunglasses over her eyes and gave her hair a bit of a brush. She hoped that her father would have approved of this behaviour - Traken was somewhat an even temperature planet - but it did get chilly at night.Linking arms they walked out of the TARDIS where Adric was standing uncertainly on the sand not sure what to do now. The Doctor had brought out a deck chair, rolled his trousers up above his knees and had his hat over his face. “Doctor!” Tegan said.“Hmph,” he grunted.Adric did not know where to look as both women had shown a side to themselves they had never shown before. Particularly Nyssa. The Doctor took his hat off and suddenly stood up as he saw Tegan in a light yellow sarong wrapped around her hips, a green bikini top covered her breasts, just about. Casually she unwrapped the sarong and placed it on the sand where her long, shapely legs stretched out across the sand as she tilted her head towards the sun: “Tegan?” the Doctor gulped, his voice a pitch higher than normal. “What are you …”“Something appropriate!” she said,Then the Doctor gazed at Nyssa - Nyssa was wearing a pair of big round sunglasses, a black hat atop her head with a halterneck purple filmy dress she reached round the back of her neck and untied the string allowing the dress to drop to her feet: “NYSSA?” The Doctor screeched. All Nyssa was wearing was a periwinkle pink bikini with slight ruffling detail on the top and an edge of purple along the waistband of the bottom. Adric turned to see how pale the Doctor looked. Nyssa’s soft rounded curves sensually sat down besides Tegan. “Well,” Tegan sighed standing up again: “I have some great ideas on how we can make the most of this!”“Like …” the Doctor gulped again, his throat constricted. Never had he … “what?”“You’ll see!” she smiled enigmatically!Adric shrugged his shoulders and decided to sit down on the sand the way the girls had done. Though he kept his gaze straight out on the sea. “What is she up to?” he whispered to Nyssa.“Search me but I have a feeling this is where she feels at home. Leave her to it,” Nyssa replied, “actually this is just the ticket!”Opening his mouth Adric was about to ask what Nyssa meant when Tegan came back: “Sun cream! Factor 50, just what we all need. Particularly you, Adric. Pale skin and too much sun can equal disaster!” she chucked Nyssa a bottle. “Rub some on him then rub some on yourself or wait for me to get back. I’ll need someone to rub it on me … who volunteers?”“I will,” Nyssa said jumping in before the Doctor was about to. This was a side of Tegan he liked. She seemed to be in her element. “Be right back!”They all heard the sound of scraping, banging, and a bit of crashing from the inner parts of the TARDIS and some Aborigine that the Doctor was sure was swearing. “Need help?” Adric asked.“Almost there!” she said. “LOOK what I found!”Triumphantly she found a red barbecue. Opening the rounded lid there was coal and even matches: “I found it in a store cupboard,” she smiled. “Food, well we should find shellfish in rock pools, that is fun. I had great times as a child with my parents doing that but I will find food in the TARDIS - AND drinks!”“Orange juice for Nyssa and Adric!” the Doctor warned.“How old are you Adric?” Tegan asked. “Earth years.”“Same age as Nyssa, 18!”“He can have a beer Doctor!”“Do I want a beer?” Adric asked Nyssa who just shrugged her shoulders. “In Australia AND the UK you’d both be old enough to get married without parents permission - you can HAVE a beer, Adric!”The Doctor raised an eyebrow. Normally he was in charge but it seemed Tegan had taken over somewhat. “What are you and Nyssa going to have?” Adric yelled through the door.“JUST GET THAT SUNCREAM ON, ADRIC, DON’T MAKE ME TELL YOU AGAIN!”“Best do as she says,” Nyssa smiled.Grumpily, Adric snatched the bottle out of Nyssa’s hand; “I’ll put it on myself!” he mumbled.“NYSSA, DO HIS BACK FOR HIM!”“You heard the Air Hostess,” the Doctor grinned. “Nyssa!”Reluctantly, Adric took his yellow shirt off and let Nyssa rub some suncream on his back. As soon as he felt he had enough she gave him the bottle. “I have to admit,” she sighed, “this is rather refreshing, Doctor!”“Yes, it is rather - always need to charge up the batteries every now and then!”“I think I am going to go for a walk!” Nyssa said. “Just a little further up the coast - not too far!”“Good good!” The Doctor exclaimed.Slowly and a little unsteadily, Nyssa stood up and started walking through the sand down by where the sea had soaked the sand. The cool water splashed on her feet: Paradise, she thought, if this was Tegan’s home life no wonder she wanted desperately to get back to it. Stretching her arms she stood alone gazing into the middle distance. So lost in her own thoughts she did not hear the footsteps behind her as a hand grabbed her mouth: “Guess who?” a voice sneered.Unfortunately she chose the spot that was obscured by the TARDIS. The hand dropped but he still kept his other hand around her wrists: “What are you doing here?” she asked.“Seemingly, the same as you! You are not going to scream?”“Do I have a choice?”Nyssa was roughly turned around: “You certainly are a butterfly, are you not, Nyssa?” the man said gazing up and down her beautiful curves. “Who would have thought you were a maiden last time we met!”“I still am!” she snarled.“Calm down,” he said gently. “One could argue that, as I got here first, you are invading MY personal space.”Finally Nyssa allowed herself to really look at her attacker: Out of the velvet also - just in a pair of black swim shorts - Tegan had told her what they were called in the TARDIS but she could not remember. “NO ONE owns this Planet except for the natives!” Nyssa snapped back. She hated the way his eyes sparkled and twinkled down her body. “Such a pretty bikini, my dear!” the Master said.“Appropriate clothing, Tegan said.”“It is for here. Miss Jovanka comes from a fairly hot place on Earth - I have been to Australia a fair few times over my time - she has chosen well.”“NOT for your benefit!” Nyssa said.“Oh I know,” the Master leered tilting her chin up. “How could I not appreciate beauty when presented to me so merrily?”“You’re not exactly modest.”“No,” he grinned playfully, “I’m not.”“NYSSA!” Tegan yelled. “WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL HER TO STAY BEHIND, DOCTOR? What if she slipped and hurt herself …” The Master arched an eyebrow: “NYSSA!”“Coming!” Nyssa exclaimed. “make yourself scarce if I were you,” she snapped as she turned her heel. The Master grabbed her wrist: “I’ll come with you - see if the Doctor and I can spend five minutes together without killing each other!”Yanking her wrist away Nyssa nodded as she walked back. “NYSSA?”“COMING!” she yelled. “With … someone!”“WHO?” Tegan said as she stepped out from behind the door. The Master’s jaw dropped - as did Tegan’s! “WHAT the HELL is HE doing here?”“Same as us, apparently!” Nyssa sighed walking quickly back to where she had left her dress and picked up the bottle. Vigorously she started rubbing it on her arms, then gently on her legs and belly before ministering it to her chest and neck. Three men agog as she did so. Only ONE with a mischievous smirk on his lips and sparkling twinkle in his eyes. Before anyone could stop him he quickly sat down behind her and started rubbing the cream into her back. Without wanting to Nyssa could not help but enjoy his massage. The Doctor scowled beneath his hat: “Escaped then?” he asked testily.“Yes, as I always do, Doctor!”The scent of lavender wafted up from Nyssa’s neck as he continued smoothing the cream into Nyssa’s soft skin. Imagine if Tegan were sat the other side of him. The Doctor ground his teeth together.“Never had you down as a sun worshipper, Master!” the Doctor said coolly.“RIGHT!” Tegan exclaimed. “ARE we ALL agreed that we have a temporary peace? Pax, as my mum used to say.”“As you wish, Tegan,” The Master grinned at her. “The Doctor on the other hand…”“Just for the time being,” Nyssa said. “It’s too peaceful to fight - this is not the right planet!”“Wisdom and beauty,” the Master murmured down her neck.“Don’t push it,” she said calmly. After this, Tegan opened a couple of beers and handed one to the Doctor and one to Adric. Then she offered Nyssa a glass of white wine: “Australia’s finest,” she said.“I thought that was you, Tegan!” the Doctor blurted out.Well, well, the Master thought, so the Doctor DOES hold those sorts of feelings then. He knew the man was married, he was best man after all, but since then …Blushing, Tegan sipped her wine as she sat down besides Nyssa and started the ritual of suncream to hide her embarrassment. No one had ever said anything like that about her in the past. Not even her father though he loved her in his own brusque way … Loved her until … The Master was about to do her back but Adric got there this time. He wished his reactions were quicker when The Master started on Nyssa. “Thanks, Adric,” Tegan said as she sipped more wine. “Traditionally in Australia it is the men who tends to the barbie.”“Why?” Nyssa asked.“Just is, my mum - who was brought up in England, once offered to cook when she just married my father - she said it was the biggest faux pas she had ever made. It is what the men do, outdoor cooking - I dunno, makes them think they have testicles I suppose!”Adric spit his beer as some went up his nose and The Doctor had to get up to slap his back. The Master chuckled: “I forgot how charmingly earthy Australians are,” he sighed glancing at Tegan. Auburn hair shone beautifully in this pure sunshine. “I did actually admire the bluntness.”“I am the daughter of an accountant and a housewife - though my grandfather was a coal miner - almost choked to death on the stuff. He always despaired of my dad. Called him a girl for wearing a suit and going to an air conditioned office!”Nyssa turned to Tegan to observe her friends expression. Yes, definitely hiding something. She has this anger for a reason. Whatever it was … Nyssa sighed. “Feeling a little dizzy,” she said.“Oh, yes!” Tegan got up and brought out a giant umbrella. “Mary Poppin’s handbag used to make me laugh - now I wonder if PL Travers wasn’t onto something!”“Mary Poppins?” Nyssa asked. “All these Earth references are making me queasy!”“Fictional character,” the Master supplied. “A Nanny with special powers that helped a family become united. Sentimental mush.”“Iiiiiiiiiiiiit’s Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious even though the sound of it something quite atrocious if you say it loud enough you’ll always sound precocious … Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious!”“Super, what?” Adric said.“A silly made up word you say when you can’t think WHAT to say!” The Doctor said. “I used to love it.”“Oh Mr Banks was awful until the end, though.” Tegan said. “This isn’t getting us anything to eat.”“Odd, the planet Earth!” Adric said tutting: “Such irrationality … no logic or reason!”“I don’t know,” the Master mused, as he watched Tegan sway back into the TARDIS: “It has it’s charms.”“Eyes off!” the Doctor warned.“It’s either her or…” the Master whispered letting his gaze finish the sentence. Moments later Tegan came back with boxes of burgers, packs of sausages, breaded products and all sorts of other things. The Master walked up to the barbecue: “You cook or I, Doctor?”Purposefully, The Doctor strode up to the barbie and took the box of matches out of his foe’s hand: “I think I’D prefer to do it!”“Fine by me!” the Master shrugged as he moved to sit back down next to Nyssa. Adric walked up to the Doctor. “Adric,” the Doctor said. They started preparing the barbie. “Tegan, keep an eye on Nyssa. I don’t want…” following the eyes, Tegan nodded.“Just got to get some things out first.”“MORE?” Adric said. “Why can’t we help?”“Because I know what I’m doing! You wouldn’t expect me to help you with a Maths problem. I daren’t help Nyssa with her experiments and as for … well… just let me do this alone!”“I think she is being perfectly silly!” Adric sighed.“No she isn’t,” Nyssa replied she was flat on her back as the sun beat down on her toned body. The Master sat besides her tilting his head as he admired her form. What a pity she is not with him! That’s a thought … “I think she is!”“She is just trying to prove herself,” Nyssa said. “Let her be.”“She was not exactly stupid on Castrovalva,” the Master said. “Quite plucky AND resourceful!”Levering up and supporting her weight on her elbows Nyssa stared at the Master: “Sounds like you respect her!” The Master shrugged his powerful shoulders: “I do respect some, Nyssa. I respect you,” his twinkling gaze rested on her making her feel as if the sun was not the only thing providing her with heat. “Have you ever asked yourself why I have not destroyed you though I had ample opportunity to do so?” Adric could just about hear what the Master was saying. “Not … well … some … yes!” she stammered as his smile made her insides turn and not unpleasantly. What was this Planet? “Yes,” she whispered shyly.“I saw what your stepmother was,” he said edging closer towards her, by now Nyssa was sat straight up and had taken her sunglasses off so their eyes were intently on each other. “I knew what she planned for you, do you know she never mentioned ONCE about saving you. Your father, yes - you, no!” tenderly his finger had sneaked its way on her cheek, “I remember how tenderly you stroked Melkur’s cheek and how you gazed up - if you HAD become the handmaiden … but you did not. Kassia was jealous of you, Nyssa, jealous of your beauty, your charm, your wit and the love your father held for you - you were a thorn in her side, SHE would have killed you!”Tegan had come back but had stayed in the threshold as the scene before her was too compelling to break up, Nyssa had a power, Tegan was sure of it. Somehow, whenever these two looked at each other there was ‘something’ and Tegan was not sure if she liked it or not.“Don’t remind me of my lost home.”“What would you have become if you had remained there?”“Do not think, for one moment, you did me a favour!” she snapped.“Oh but I did,” he said now the tips of their noses were touching. “You would have ended up as someone’s wife - someones mother - not really achieving what you could have. I have ALWAYS known power - YOU have an untapped Power, Nyssa. I cannot destroy that!”Raising a hand to her mouth Tegan coughed to break the sudden tension that had developed in the air: “Your drink, Master!” she said. “I kind of thought you were a G & T with a squeeze of lemon on the rocks person,” he took the crystal glass and sipped: “Perfect, Tegan!” Quickly, she glanced down at his shorts and wished she did not. That would make any woman happy, she surmised. Better not let Nyssa know what THAT means, Tegan wished SHE didn’t! “You deciphered right.”“Thank you, Tegan,” the Doctor said. “Now, what are you doing?”Tegan then brought out a few bits of wood: “Cricket, Doctor?” she asked.“Yes!” the Doctor grinned.“I’ll set up!”“You know cricket?” The Master asked.“Show me an Aussie who doesn’t and I’ll show you a green Kangaroo!”Despite herself Nyssa laughed at that! “Green? Why green?” the Master loved her laugh. That sinuous body was making him dry in the throat, When she picked up her wine and sipped it The Master realised just how genteel Nyssa was and that was always a big attraction for him. Elegantly, she lay back down and rested under the shade of the umbrella, If only the others … well, others aside from Tegan … were not here. The Master would have had some fun by now.“Tegan I’m hot!” Nyssa exclaimed.“On Earth? You would be,” Tegan exclaimed back as she was dipping the bales into the sand before placing the stumps on top before pacing about thirty feet - it was only meant to be a fun game. “You’d have been the girl all the boys liked and all the girls wished you were their best friend!” The Master could not keep his eyes off Tegan’s legs as she glided like a heron on the sand.“Really?” Nyssa said.“Oh yes, you’d have been very popular!” Tegan said. “About now, I suggest we go cool ourselves in the sea. Don’t go right in, I have certain life saving abilities but I can not bring people back from the dead. Be careful!”“On my own?”“I will come if you like?” The Master grinned making Nyssa uneasy.“Nearly finished,” Tegan said. “RIGHT, that’s done. We got food going, we’ve all had a drink and a cricket game is prepared, Nyssa, RACE YOU!”Scrambling up Nyssa started rushing into the water and screamed with the cold and Tegan grabbed her hand as they were engulfed by a wave together the sun glistening their skin. The Master tilted his head to one side: he knew that one of these two would be his tonight - trouble is, he could not decide which one. They screeched with joy as Tegan bent down and splashed some water onto Nyssa - laughing Nyssa returned the favour.“What are they doing?” Adric asked.“Enjoying themselves,” the Master sighed. “Australia may be primitive in most of it’s ways but they certainly understand how to make their women!” he licked his lips as Tegan stood back up stretching her arms then Nyssa suddenly pounced on her friend and they tickled each other allowing the straps of their tops to droop down slightly showing slightly more flesh than the Doctor or Adric were comfortable with but the Master’s grin spread wider: “As did Traken!” he finished with a slight lick of the lips. After the fake fight, Nyssa helped Tegan up then adjusted her strap as Tegan did hers but it was enough for Adric to blush and The Doctor to avert his gaze. “Well, Doctor, I shall tend to the Barbecue whilst you and Tegan play cricket!”“What are you implying?” the Doctor jumped at the tone used on the word Cricket.“Nothing,” the Master leered. The sound of girlish laughter came closer. “Shame I did not bring towels out!” Tegan laughed as they were both dripping wet. The Master loved the way Nyssa moved and swayed. Then again, Tegan was bright and happy and beautiful. Oh why could he not own both at once? It would HAVE to be one or the other - he had to let the Doctor have some fun, “Oh, Nyssa you are so funny where did that come from?” “I’ll get some,” Adric said pleased for the opportunity to get a Maths book out - he needed to calm down. “I don’t know, Tegan. I just thought it would be the right thing to do!”They leant over and hugged. Tegan kissed Nyssa on the lips the way she would a sister whilst tenderly brushing Nyssa’s hair away from her face then Nyssa did the same. The Master had never felt more excited: “Need a little help, ladies?” he asked as their arms were still wrapped around each other. Adric returned with two large purple towels. They reached out for them and wrapped in one each. The Master helped Nyssa to her spot and the Doctor took Tegan by the waist. They had walked a few feet further away: “Can’t you stop him?” the Doctor asked her.“Stop whom?”“The Master - I do not like the way he is gazing at you or Nyssa.”“Don’t be silly, men like the Master would not know what either end of a woman is … besides do you think either of us would let him near us?”“No,” The Doctor sighed gazing deeply into her brown eyes, “you may not but Nyssa … does she know?”“When the opportunity arises I shall warn her, Doctor. Don’t worry I am not going to let the…” she stopped suddenly.“Let what?” Bowing her head down she mumbled nothing before walking even further away! Nyssa was right - Tegan was hiding something. There was only one place he could go to get the truth out of her and that place he was going to avoid for as long as possible. Shivering slightly The Doctor wrapped an arm around Tegan’s waist drawing her closer to his body allowing the water to soak into his clothes. “Doctor, seriously, why can’t the TARDIS get me back?”“I have no idea, Tegan but … why do YOU want to go back?”“I’m not cut out for great things. Who knows what Nyssa can do! Or Adric - as I said I am just a human.”The Doctor tilted her head up and stroked her face tenderly: “How can anyone be Just a Human?” the Doctor asked. “You’re Planet and species stretches far and wide across the Universe - you co rule with others and sometimes it’s possible to breed - HUMANS are found in any time; in any culture, on any planet. Not even Timelords has managed that!”Sighing Tegan was about to pull away from the Doctor but he had tightened his grip and he held her chin firmly in his hand: “Let me go back to Nyssa,” she whispered.Impulsively the Doctor lowered his head and brushed his lips against hers. Melting in his embrace Tegan was more than willing to allow the kiss to develop further had not Adric asked for help with the barbie. Reluctantly, The Doctor let her go. That was close! Never had he been tempted to commit that sort of indiscretion before except with Jo, oh he cared deeply for Jo! Another companion that felt as if she was just a Human. The Master walked up to the Doctor: “I saw that!” he said smiling. “Don’t blame you either - she has a hidden grace about her, doesn’t she?”“What Planet is this that is making us ALL do things we would not normally do?” the Doctor asked.“Are you sure about that, Doctor? This is just a very peaceful Planet - even I like a bit of quiet.”“Just stay away from Nyssa, you’ve hurt her enough!”“Well, let’s see if YOU can keep away from Tegan, shall we? Thankfully, Adric is happy enough with a maths book in his hands. I prefer tenderer things in mine.”“You sicken me!”“Oh do I?” the Master sneered. “I am not her father now - there is no blood connection between us - she is a delightful young woman. I just heard some of her theories - to think, I accused her of making a fool of me … maybe I am the one that made a fool of her! Quite intelligent. I am actually shocked you did not make your move on her sooner!”“That is not my style.”“No,” the Master tilted his head. “Are you sure about that? I came here and was on my own. Imagine, to my delight, seeing Nyssa standing there - in that tasteful two piece - a colour that highlights her complexion, Like an Aphrodite gazing out for her lover!”“Why you could not stay away from her I shall never know. This is not normally your style.”“How do you know what my style is, Doctor. We hadn’t met for eons - I had at least ten lives between then and the time we met in Seventies Earth. You do not know what I got up to. I have had lovers, Doctor. I probably know more how to charm a lady than you do. You may as well face up to the fact that Nyssa will have to grow up some day.”“Not today though!”“Today is as good as any other, Doctor. Why don’t you let yourself go and be with young Tegan? Unless, I can have her too?” Angrily the Doctor punched the Master in the face and stalked off: “You can’t protect them ALL forever - and I know what happens to you in ALL your lives, Doctor! You won’t always be so damn proper!”When Nyssa asked what was wrong the Doctor glanced at the Master. Tegan noted the glance and realised now was the time for the chat whilst Adric was starting to cook the burgers. Quietly she drew Nyssa inside the TARDIS to Tegan’s bedroom; “The Master - how do you view him?”“I detest him!”“What about today?”“He’s a little different today. I can’t help but find myself somewhat … attracted … to him, but only on an intellectual capacity. After all,” she gazed down her body. “I am just a child! I can admire his scientific knowledge and some of his theories even though I hate him, can’t I?”“Be warned, Nyssa, there is a fine line between Love AND Hate … A VERY fine line!”“What are you suggesting?”“Don’t let yourself be on your own with The Master, he may be a Timelord but he is still a man - and, VERY MUCH a man!”“Tegan?”“Did your father ever give you a talk about the differences between Men and Women?”“Not that I … I do know that I do not like the way he is looking at me… then again I can’t help but FEEL as if I do not care …”“Did you have any romantic attachments on Traken?”“I had an understanding between parents at one time.”“I mean a REAL feeling of … well,” Tegan glanced around her room and picked up her handbag she took out a photograph of her as a teenager: “This?” she said showing it to Nyssa. It was of her kissing her then boyfriend.“No, not really.”“You best sit down, Nyssa. You’re in for a very basic biology lesson! A science that even the most primal of species knows about!”Outside the door The Master had crept in after them on the pretence that he, too, wanted to read. Silently, he opened the door just a crack to hear what Tegan was saying: “And you really think?” Nyssa asked.“No, but be careful, Nyssa - it’s hard to find good, decent honest men like your father - like The Doctor …”“But the Master is …”“NOT your father and he is most aware of that - it’s my fault I should not have let you wear that!”“No,” Nyssa sighed, “if I change now it’s like we let him win.”“Just be careful.”“Who was he, Tegan?” Nyssa pointed to the boy in the picture: “he looks a lot different to Earthlings I have previously seen!”“He would be, yes - he was a young Aborigine, like all youths we both thought we could change the world with love - we were engaged just before this pic…” Tegan burst into tears and Nyssa rushed an arm around Tegan’s shoulders: “He went out to celebrate with my cousin and brother, very open minded family” Tegan sobbed, “and someone killed him - it turned out there was this other guy who had a thing for me - he was a recluse - a loner - he kil …” tears began to pour down Tegan’s cheeks onto Nyssa’s arms as she rocked her friend to peace: “led him,” Tegan sighed. “Just because he had a different skin colour!““That’s despicable!” Nyssa sighed. “He’d have loved the Doctor. They’d have got on like a house on fire. Do you know what someone said to me after this: It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all … each word stabbed me in the heart! I hate death!”“Why can’t you tell the Doctor about this?” Nyssa sighed. “He would be able to heal you. The way that he helped me.”“I carry this picture everywhere but this is the first time I have ever told anyone outside my family. Not many people in Australia would understand ,.. it was not the done thing for a white NORMAL girl like me to love a freak like him!”“What happened to the killer?”“Life imprisonment - but he managed to sneak in a knife and slit his wrists. There was a note: If I can’t have Tegan then why should that black bastard? he wrote.”“Awful.”“I was 18 when that happened - I have never got over it, you know what my question is now?” Nyssa shook her head. “Where was the Doctor then? WHY couldn’t he turn up and stop that?”“I - I don’t know,” Nyssa sighed. “Come here!” the two women hugged on the bed then Tegan broke the hug and stood up.“That’s not the worst thing,” Nyssa felt the blood drain her face: “I was pregnant at the time - partly the reason for the engagement - and the shock of losing him meant I lost my …”“Your baby?” Nyssa finished. Silently Tegan nodded the tears coursing down her face. After a few moments the Master walked away slightly in awe over the problems that Tegan had. No wonder she was so angry - if that had happened to him he’d have destroyed the world. Nyssa got up and took Tegan’s hand: “Come on,” she said. “We’re going to tell the Doctor and Adric about this.”“No! He can’t know what a failure I am!”“In what way have you failed, Tegan? None of that is your fault!”Shuddering out the final sob Tegan allowed Nyssa to lead her out of the TARDIS: “THAT is how I know what the Master is thinking with you, Nyssa, I HAVE known passionate and real love. It is not something anyone can control! I couldn’t help but love this interesting, exotic man!”“I will be careful,” she said leading a still trembling Tegan out by the waist.“Ah, Tegan,” the Doctor said, brandishing a metal spatula, “onions or…” he saw how pale she was. “Nyssa?”“Tegan’s just told me something, Doctor!” she said giving the Doctor a photograph. She was pleased that the Master was nowhere around. Adric leaned over the Doctor’s shoulder. “That man she’s kissing was her fiancee - hours after this picture was taken - the man was brutally murdered just for his skin tone - the shock caused her to lose her unborn child.”A lump had formed in the Doctor’s throat: “Tegan … I don’t …”“You were going to be a mother?” Adric asked.Nodding Tegan buried her face in her hands as the Doctor took her in his arms hugging her tightly: “I am so sorry!” he kissed her forehead.“Who killed him?” Adric said rubbing Tegan’s back.Nyssa wished she had words of wisdom to impart. Instead she quietly walked into the TARDIS to find if the Doctor had any books in the library that may help. Imagine losing a baby? Nyssa shuddered as she could not contemplate such a tragedy. Once she entered the Library she spotted the Master in there: “What ARE you doing here?”“Finding some intellectual stimulation,” he sighed, “my TARDIS is somewhat further away ... You?”“Same!” her tone had grown colder as she walked down the other side of the Library running her fingers along the spines of forgotten and future manuals and texts. She stopped at a section: How Grief Can Be Overcome? she opened the book and flicked through it: “Childish and idiotic!” she muttered as she placed it back on the shelf.“I may be able to help you.”“I do not need your assistance.”Silkily the Master crept up to the section Nyssa was looking at and ran some eyes over the titles: “This one!” he said. Nyssa glanced up and found his eyes were searching hers: “Thank you,” she murmured. The Master stepped closer towards her their gaze still on the other. “look, I know what you are thinking and I don’t like it!”“How do you know?”“You killed my father - you think I am going to let you touch me?”“You really should see the bigger picture,” The Master murmured, “you are a very passionate young woman - you could say you are my polar opposite!”“Precisely!”“Opposites attract in both art and science you know.” he whispered. eyes still searching hers. “Look on a colour wheel - and you see what I mean.”“How dare you look at me with my father’s eyes and insinuate that…” he tilted her head up and interrupted her outburst with a kiss.Slow start but as he pressed his lips against hers the kiss caused her heart to leap to her throat and she blushed. Swiftly, he took advantage of her silence as he teased down her lower lip with his thumb before slipping his tongue inside her lips allowing her to taste him properly - pull away, Nyssa. She wanted to so much, but his hand crept round to the back of her head: “So beautiful!” he whispered as he lowered his head with his lips pulsating with desire. The moment he murmured her name inside her mouth Nyssa had weakened and allowed him to explore her mouth with his tongue - dizzy expectation filled her head as his fingers trailed down her back to the clasp of her bikini. Only a second to go then she would be powerless in his grasp as she murmured warmly into his mouth as her tongue started to flicker in and out. Tentatively kissing him back. As his fingers touched the clasp the door to the library opened and Adric walked in!They stopped Nyssa sprang apart from the Master blushing all over her body as she dashed out of the room holding the book in her hands trying to keep calm and not cry. So that was what it was like to kiss? The Master had awakened a hunger deep inside her she was not even aware of minutes ago. What was happening? What was this Planet? It HAD to be something they touched. Infected with some sort of poison or swallowed some invisible bacteria in the air. Why else would the Master be acting the way he was? She was certain that she was the least of his type.Once out of the TARDIS she began to breathe deeply trying to hide her shame. Tegan was sat down on the deck chair with the Doctor tenderly rubbing her hand. Nyssa stood straight and walked up to them: “I got this book for you!”Moments later Adric dashed out breathlessly: “WHAT WERE YOU DOING IN THERE?” he demanded of Nyssa.“What was going on where?” Tegan asked.“Nothing!” Nyssa blushed.“Nyssa?” Tegan asked narrowing her eyes: “What … happened?”“We - well - kissed?”“You and Adric?” The Doctor smiled. “NO!” Adric sounded like he was going to be sick at the thought.“Then…”“The Master,” Tegan sighed unhappily. “why didn’t you just step away or push him off?”“I wanted to, I really did, but I felt dizzy and excited and thrilled. Then he murmured my name … I had never heard it spoken like that before!”“Oh dear!” Tegan said. “Well, at least it didn’t get too far!”“Is that all you can say?” Adric said.“I felt his fingers around the back of this,” Nyssa said. “It was a different sort of power! One that I was willing to …”The Master walked out of the TARDIS a little red faced. Immediately Tegan rose up, strode to the Master and landed the biggest thwack in the face she had ever given someone. And she had landed some whoppers! “I take it you have told them?” he said suavely to Nyssa. Gulping down she nodded not trusting herself to gaze in his eyes. “How can I not feel attracted to both elegance and power?”“I do not have a power,” Nyssa mumbled. “Just being able to grasp certain Science’s.” “If that is what you wish to believe, Nyssa,” the Master said slightly contemptuously, “it has just yet to manifest itself but there is something different about you, my dear. Something that I have only seen in few of your race!”The Doctor, Tegan and Adric both offered puzzled glances Nyssa’s way: “What do you mean?” she asked - she felt frightened somehow as the Master closed in on her. Adric was ready to pounce on the Master but, frustratingly, the Doctor stayed Adric by his shoulder. “Don’t get so close!”“Something that your father knew you had AND dissuaded you from pursuing, rather ironic considering whom he pursued;” Nyssa glanced at the Doctor and gulped.“You don’t mean …” she murmured. “No, I can’t be!”Tegan had stood by her friend ready to protect her if the Master got too close: “Can’t be what?” Tegan asked softly squeezing her shoulder.“A Sensitive,” Nyssa whispered. “It means …,” she lowered her eyes. “It means, I can foretell the near future.”“It is a little more than that, isn’t it, Nyssa?”“I do not wish to scare Tegan!” Nyssa said sharply.“Food!” Tegan exclaimed. “We have plenty of time to discuss this.”“Yes,” the Doctor said as he turned around. Suddenly everyone was sat down munching silently. Nyssa stole silent glances at the Master wishing she could get the taste, the feel and the touch out of her mind but she couldn’t. She tried to replace her thoughts with Cybernetics - why E=mC2, what was the theory of Gravity? No matter what she tried to distract herself with it all ended up at that kiss. Once he felt her eyes and he turned around - her reaction was not quite quick enough as she glanced down on the sand drawing circles in it to try and make sense of her thoughts. Smirking, the Master kept his eyes on her as she tried to hide her embarrassment. “More suncream, Nyssa!” Tegan said. “You will regret it if you don’t. We should all take a nap in our rooms soon at any rate.”“Why?” Nyssa said thinking of being alone in a vulnerable state. “Sun stroke,” Tegan said. “I do not know anyone’s tolerance to this sort of heat but mine and I’m climatised.”“Gallifrey has two suns,” The Master said.“Sounds beautiful,” Nyssa sighed.“It is!” the Master exclaimed. “When we were children, Doctor … the streams with the purple frogs - we used to steal the spawn.”“So we did,” the Doctor sighed.“I cannot imagine you as a child,” Nyssa said of the Master. “The Doctor, I can. You … no.”“How else did you think I entered the universe?” the Master asked her. “Borne upon the ill-wind of Treachery!” Nyssa snapped standing up. “I think I shall take Tegan’s advice, I find myself feeling a little ill!”Adric helped her to the TARDIS. The Master stayed where he sat. He could bide his time, though, he knew the Doctor would soon wander off and do a bit of exploring, the Doctor never did like being too long in one place, he may take that boy with him.“I am glad Nyssa did go to bed,” Tegan sighed. “I haven’t quite told all. I kept some of the story out to protect her.”“Tegan?” the Doctor enquired.“How I lost the baby,” she said.“It was shock!” Adric exclaimed. “It was the shock of being …,” she glanced up at the sky, “the shock of being …”“Raped?” the Master finished for her. The Doctor walked up to her: “Shall we explore?” he offered, “you can tell me all about it.”“It was awful, Doctor - I was four months.”For the first time The Master felt sorry for someone other than himself. What a horrible thing to have happened! Even he, one day, entertained dreams of fatherhood - just yet to meet the right young woman worthy enough to carry his seed. There was one he had his eye on - but that was a little more into the future. Now, there was the delightful young, ripe Traken maiden who wilted so pleasantly in his arms. Sweet, demure, ladylike and hot - yes, he knew what Tegan meant by the term. He was almost willing that The Doctor would leave them alone. Adric too. That way then he could help Tegan to her bedchamber and enter Nyssa’s on some pretence.“Come on, Tegan, a walk?”“No, it’s all right, I’ll just lie here in the sun and dream.”“Adric?”“Sure,” Adric said putting his shirt back on. “Are you sure, Tegan?”“I’m sure.”The Master made to get up too. “Not you!” Adric said.“You trust me on my own with two beautiful women?” The Master grinned. The Doctor nodded: “For once, Adric, I do … and beautiful?”“Oh Doctor, open your eyes once in awhile!” The Master sighed as he gazed down on a very toned Tegan. “You are not telling me there is not something of the Carnal happening to you when you look at her?”“No, honestly say I don’t!”The Master shook his head: You can lie to the boy, Doctor but not to me, You are going to make sure Adric will be busy then you are going to creep back, I know you are. The Doctor took Adric by the arm and led him towards the Palm fronted jungle. The Master glanced down at Tegan: “Tegan,” he said.“Hmm,” she murmured.“You said this boy committed suicide … you were lying, weren’t you?”“Yes, I was,” she sighed. “Don’t you DARE try to find out the truth.”“I understand your anger, Tegan - you did it to protect yourself,” sighing he sat down next to her - the green suited her. “Truly I am sorry for your loss.”“Makes what you did to my Aunt seem mild, eh?”“I am not under the delusion the Doctor is about Planet Earth - the amount of influence I had on that Planet - too many weak willed individuals. You’re not though,” he said turning to her. “You are very strong in your opinions and your beliefs. YOU KNOW what you want.”“I think I am feeling a little sun sick,” she said as she managed to get up. “I shall help you to your chamber then come back out here with a book,” he said. “So long as you do,” Tegan said narrowing her eyes as he took her by the hand: “I shall hear of it if you don’t!”“Then I shall be at your mercy,” the Master said.Slowly he supported her body to the the consul room down the hallway until Tegan said here. She swooned against him and he clutched hold of her tightly. The feel of her breasts against his stomach almost near his manhood, made his throat dry. Steadily he opened the door and placed Tegan gently on her bed using the opportunity to stroke down her entire body. Almost he considered taking her too as his hand rested on her thigh, fingers almost near her labia. Bending down he sniffed her perfume and smiled. Tenderly, he placed his lips on Tegan’s belly button. She moaned with desire. Very sensitive to the touch then, his eyes glowed with pleasure as he slid his hand further up her body and rested it on her breast. “Sleep well, Tegan,” he sighed in her ear. “One day, I shall come for you too.”Tegan rolled on her side not knowing really what happened. She had this funny dream that the Master was talking to her, kissing her and had his hand between her legs. The dream made her feel happy. Why though, she could not fathom. Of course she’d dream of a man with the perfect body but why the Master’s face? Sighing, she settled down to sleep the sun off. The Master smiled as he rested his gaze on her pert bottom before walking out of the room.Nyssa had walked out of her room just as the Master had walked past: “What are you doing now?” she asked rubbing her head. “Going back outside, like I promised Tegan.”“You… keep a promise? Miracles do happen!”“That is the first time I have heard you use sarcasm, Nyssa. I watched you growing up you know.”“I know that is the scariest thought about you. You knew me as a child!”“You were not scared of Melkur then, You used to crawl on your knees and touch my feet and make it a game - I remember your father not liking you near Melkur. You called me MEKOR, when young!”“Did I?”“I thought it was quite endearing. Strange how the fear developed as you grew to womanhood.”“Interesting isn’t it, when a child, you must have been afraid of something.”“I was, but you weren’t. Never a fear of the dark, of insects, of birds, owls, mice, rats … you were a brave child,” The Master tilted his head to one side, “most girls would have screamed after I kissed them. Not you,” he stepped up to her, “you did not even fight me, why?”“Weakened by the alcohol, sun and lack of food I suspect.”“Tegan is resting in her chambers,” he said. “I shall be outside, reading a book if you want me,”“You are not leaving the Planet?”“Not yet, no. As I said, even nefarious villains need a little rest.”“I heard how Tegan really lost her child!” Nyssa suddenly said. “I was hiding. I knew she had not told the complete truth. Raped?” Nyssa shuddered. “That was a term I heard my father use sometimes. I asked what it meant - he never let me be lost by ignorance!” Nyssa rubbed her arms. “No wonder she’s angry all the time - and the one thing she thought she could cling to, her career and now that is in the balance!” she had leant against the wall her arms folded underneath her chest glancing at Tegan’s door, “I would die for her!” she sighed. “She’s my sister!”Smiling the Master remembered his youthful friendship with the Doctor: “Never lose that, Nyssa.”“I shan’t, unlike some, I believe in loyalty!” she flared as she was about to step back in her room the Master grabbed her wrist, swung her around, pulled her towards him and, before she knew what was happening, his lips were pressed against hers as he trapped her against the wall. “I wish you’d stop doing that!” Nyssa gasped,“Stop being so wonderfully defiant!”“I thought you hated def…” his lips brushed against hers as she murmured the rest of the word.“Sometimes,” he growled as his hands squeezed her waist: “Sometimes, my dear,” he bent down to kiss her again. “It can make me very very happy!”Without knowing why Nyssa planted a dry kiss on his lips. The moustache tickled her but, somehow, she liked that. That strange hunger returned again. One that could only be satisfied through him. “You are the man I hate the most in the entire Universe!” she breathed against his neck. “Why do I want you to do this with me?”Grinning the Master nuzzled his nose on her neck as his hot lips burned into her now naked shoulder. “Hate is a passion too, Nyssa,” he purred kissing down around her neck until he reached her turned up throat. “I may recommend you read Dracula sometime,” his tongue flicked onto her flesh.“I cannot do this,” she sighed trying to push him away but he was stronger than her and she knew that it was only a half-hearted attempt. “You’re too much like my father!” “Hate me, Nyssa - hate me so much you want to hurt me! Use your power over me in any way you want!” he murmured as he lifted her legs over his hips. “You can cause so much pain with a kiss.”Gulping, Nyssa’s head flopped over the Master’s shoulder as her lips grazed his ear her teeth closed around the lobe and she bit it! Not to hard but enough to make him growl with desire: “Yes, Nyssa! Be the woman you are!” he let her down. “Now, are we going to finish this?”Her arms hung around his neck and she gazed into his eyes: “I have a feeling I will regret either decision,” she murmured.“Think of this as a scientific experiment of psychology,” he whispered as he kissed her forehead. “Just how much of love making actually has to do with love?”Nyssa felt giddy with idea. The Master was right. What was wrong with being clinical about this? Besides, she had her curiosity at too high a peak to drop down now. “What did Tegan say if she …?”“She’d kill me!” he purred stroking aside her hair.“Fine then,” she said shrugging her shoulders. The Master let himself be led by her. How much of a woman was she? He hated to admit it but he felt he had made her a true woman. The defiance she had shown on Castrovalva was enough, when he saw her in the trousers rather than the skirt he could not believe the figure she had been hiding. He was glad that no insipid Trakenite got there first. Her bedroom was not a surprise. Situated at the desk were test tubes, bunsen burners and note books: “My experiments,” she said.“I used to have a room like this,” he said walking up to her notes. A cursory glance told him all he needed to know, the Doctor was damn lucky! What a mind she had. One day, he promised, he would have to convince her to sleep with him again. “It is rare one comes across beauty and brains.”Suddenly, now he was in her room Nyssa was unsure about the ‘experiment’. There was something funny going on - she would have to explore Safyre.“You like what I have notated and deduced?”“Certainly do,” his hunger was back. To think this was a young woman and had already come to conclusions many 60 year olds found difficult to grasp. “Look, about this experiment?”“Now you’re afraid?” he said sitting down behind her using his fingers to stroke down her spine to relax her. “The fearless woman is afraid of what most people in the Universe do every day?”Playing with her fingers on her lap Nyssa glanced up and turned her head: “You are the Master - not many people get someone like you?”“You’ll be surprised,” he smirked planting a kiss on her shoulder blade. “Vile seducers exist everywhere, Nyssa. You may as well learn that lesson now,” he nuzzled his nose into the depths of her hair and breathed her in completely. “You know that much about me. At least I am honest,” his hand had reached down to her belly button, “about my dishonesty.”Butterflies flew complicated knots around her stomach as his fingers explored beneath the waistband of her bottoms, with a soft moan Nyssa leant back into The Master’s embrace as his lips explored her neck, throat, and back. This was too good to feel like hate. She had to hurt him somehow so she reached her arm around his neck as he continued kissing hers then dug a nail in his flesh and drew it down his back. The scratch was not that deep but it was enough to make the Master clutch her leg tightly on the thigh. Making her yip a little. Every single touch burned through her skin.Nyssa shifted her body so she was now facing him: “As long as you definitely do not expect me to fall in love with you?”“Let us sing our strange duet, Nyssa!” he said as he unclasped her bra and gently removing it from her flesh releasing her pert and fully formed breasts. “We are harmonizing our hatred perfectly!”Laying down on her back Nyssa closed her eyes as the Master’s tongue licked and caressed her nipple, nipping gently on the bud and making them firm in his grip. “I want you dead!” Nyssa hissed. “So much!”“Continue thinking of my death, Nyssa,” the Master replied kissing between the breasts down a straight line towards her belly button where he licked her name around it. “Such smooth, soft flesh!”“Bastard!” Nyssa hissed digging her hands into his scalp. “Oh, Nyssa, that is not a term I thought you would have ever used!” he smiled as he reached her femininity. The scent of her womanhood made him want to rip the bottoms off with his teeth. Gently he lowered the pants down causing her to hiss with desire as his touch made her quiver.“Now,” he purred as he rushed his shorts off, “you are quite sure?”“I don’t know how sure I am of anything anymore!” she said.Easing his body up he stroked her hair. She had started to sweat. Tenderly he separated her legs: “This may hurt to start with?”“Since when did you care about that?” she snarled.Slowly he guided her to him as he began to penetrate her. With a loud yell he pushed further inside Nyssa. Her legs further apart now his hands had squeezed her flesh. A thrust more caused Nyssa to dig her nails so deep into his back she did not care if his blood crept between the hard and soft skin. “What is this power?” she screamed suddenly she rolled around with him now lying on his back. Tenderly, he stroked down her flesh before playing with her breasts and, in particular, nipples. “This is wrong!” she exclaimed.“Now is your chance, Nyssa!” he growled. “Your chance to hate me with your entire being!”“I don’t know how?”“Just hurt me, Nyssa - exact your revenge!”As he reached up to touch her neck she slapped his hand away: “No!” she said.“That’s it, tease me!”“No, you’re enjoying it. You are not hating it!” she thumped his body with her fists, hitting out striking his body with harsh blows as tears fell from her eyes. “You are vile!” she scratched him again - even using her bikini top to hit him with as a weapon, “I HATE YOU!” she screamed. “HATE YOU! I WANT YOU DEAD YOU MURDERING, PLANET DESTROYING BASTARD!”The Master did enjoy her torment but felt he would have to calm her down soon or she could wake Tegan and he really was dead. “Do you feel better now?” he asked as she collapsed in tears beside him. “No, strangely, I do not,” she replied as she was about to turn around he stopped her. “I thought if I physically caused you pain it would. The Doctor is right, revenge is a waste of time.”The Master smiled as he planted a kiss on her nose: “I do not hate or despise you,” he whispered. “I may not ever say I care for anyone but you are alive… not because of an accident,” he murmured before kissing her lips. “Now, you have beaten me black and blue - shall I go or stay?” he kissed her throat before dotting them across her breasts. “Do you want me to go?” he purred.“No,” she sighed. Twirling her fingers in his surprising soft hair. The beard was so comforting against her naked breasts, “it was … nice, before!”Tenderly he rolled her on her back as her legs parted to allow him to go into her: “Nyssa,” he grunted with the first thrust. “My Nyssa!” with a small thrust up, Nyssa’s legs quivered and shook against his. “NYSSA!” he roared with a long, slow hard thrust.Tears of pain coursed down her cheeks as she clenched onto his buttocks driving him into her quicker screaming out his REAL name! The Master was dazed by hearing the name he abandoned eons again but she continued shouting it the more he thrust into her. The bed rocked beneath them as their passions came to shuddering, weak, joyful ecstatic finish.“Nyssa,” he gasped collapsing on top of her. “How did you know my real name?”“I have no idea!” she sighed back kissing the top of his head. “I just knew I did not want to scream out your title!”The Master kissed her breasts as she hugged his head to them whilst still tenderly twining his hair between her fingers. “I am almost jealous of the man that shall have you as a wife,” he breathed on her nipple, instantly erect he sucked it. “Your passion knows no bounds!”They ended up spooning and the Master fell asleep beside her. Nyssa had her hand on his firm arms. That was not what she expected. How could she kill this man now? It truly was a strange duet, eventually she closed her eyes as he continued to hug her. Definitely would have to marry someone with a moustache or beard, she thought. It provided her with joyous agony! The Master and Nyssa did not care how long they had slept - neither knew if it was light or dark or even the same planet. Nyssa turned around in the Master’s arms and hugged him. That was wonderfully satiating he thought, satisfying from all angles. The fact that she was still in his arms meant he had done it well - he woke briefly to see her calm and smiling. Stroking her hair aside he rested his hand on her cheek. Shame the next time they would meet they would be back to contempt but at least he could store this in his TARDIS to watch again.“Nyssa?” he murmured,“Hmm,” she murmured nuzzling further in his embrace.“One day, you and I shall repeat this experiment. I assure you!”He kissed her lips again before drooping back to sleep. Often it was said to make love and not war, with women like Nyssa the Master was almost prepared to believe it.Nyssa dreamt a very odd dream. That she had allowed the Master to take over her body. That she enjoyed it, More worryingly she knew the Master’s real Gallifreyan name. And, then the dream said something about repeating this experiment. That was how Tegan found them later when she was checking up on Nyssa: “It wasn’t a dream,” she sighed shaking her head as she gently shut the door. “I’ll kill him!” she then vowed. “And I had best get into more sensible evening beach wear.”What was most puzzling was, where was the Doctor and Adric? Why didn’t one stay behind to stop the Master from seeking other company? Mind you, Nyssa could have rejected him and that cuddle did not look like a rejection. Just, she sighed, I had best be there when she wakes up!Once she knows it wasn’t a dream Nyssa will need some severe counselling. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
