Blood Oath
So, I've been wanting to do this since last Summer, but I wasn't sure if I could do it at all, let alone well, but seeing how popular my other Klaine story "Shattered Darkness" has become in just a couple of weeks gave me the boost I needed. Just in case FF deletes it, it will also be posted on Adult FanFiction. I will only post all the info on this first chapter, to avoid using up a lot of space each time. There are many warnings listed, because there might be a trigger for you somewhere in the story and I really don't want to upset anyone, so please read ALL of them before you continue on with the story, just so you have all the information to know if this is something you'll be comfortable with. Thank you.
Rating: M. Absolutely, positively, without a shadow of a doubt M!
Pairing: Klaine! Contains a Dark!Vampire!Blaine and a BP!Human!Kurt (intersexed, technically). It's my first time writing a non-traditional story where the characters aren't just strictly gay, straight or bi. I'm still testing my comfort levels.
Summary: Centuries ago an ancient vampire became guardian of the Hummels after learning he would finally find his mate in the last of their bloodline. Now he watches over Kurt, who is so convinced that his anatomy makes him unwantable, it will take more than Blaine's word to believe otherwise, until he ends up wrapped up in a world he never knew existed...
Warnings: Abuse, Age-Difference, Alcohol, Anal, Angst, Attempted Suicide, AU, BDSM, Blood Play, Bondage, Bullying, Controversial, Crossdressing, Dark Story, Depression, Domination & Submission, Drugs, Dub-Con, Ephebophilia, Exhibitionism, Fetish, Fingering, First Time, Fluff, Handjobs, Humiliation, Hurt/Comfort, Implied Sexual Abuse, Lemons, Masturbation, Minor CC Death, Minor Original Characters, Minor OC Death, Non-Con, NSFW, Oral, Penetration, Other, OTP, PWP, Rape, Rimming, Romance, Sadomasochism, Self-Harm, Seme/Uke, Sexual Harassment, Smut, Stalking, Supernatural, Torture, Toys, Violence, Voyuerism, 3rd Person POV. May add more in the future, and yes, I have become obssessed with fiction slang.
TL;DR: A very, very dark and dirty story in which Blaine is a dangerous, ancient vampire and Kurt is an outcasted human teenager with 'girl parts' who sees himself as a freak, something that no one could love him as. Blaine has been waiting for his mate forever, and he isn't about to let Kurt go.
Enjoy!
1644 (Ireland)
The sound of the woman's fluttering heartbeat is what gave her location away. The vampire had her cornered within seconds.
"Le do thoil, déan trócaire!" She cried out at the sight of it. It was horrible - those red eyes seemed to burn into her very soul. She trembled in fear. "Please!" she pleaded, her accent thick as she abruptly switched to English. "Demon, spare me. I beg of you. I will do whatever you wish, this I promise you!"
The vampire watched her, his expression unreadable. The woman was undoubtly beautiful - her deep auburn hair fell in waves around her shoulders, eyes bluer than any ocean he had seen, she had fair and flawless skin, and despite the worn dress that was clearly too big on her petite form, he could see she had a distinctly feminine body.
As lovely as she no doubt was, she had only one thing he wanted.
Her blood.
Still, it was only early in the evening, and he had no plans after dinner. He decided to humor her, for his own amusement. "What could you possibly offer me, other than your life?"
"I-I know what you want, I can give it to you. The companion you desire. If you will spare my life I promise you can have it."
Quirking an eyebrow, he wondered if she was merely guessing. A simple mortal girl could not know anything about him. This was obviously an act of desperation on her part, to save herself.
Classic humans.
"You think I want your companionship?" He asked, a small chuckle escaped before he could hold it. Did she think so much of herself?
"No...no me." She breathed, her shoulders tensing, seeing that she had caught his attention with those words. "My descendant... the last of my line, many years from now, he is what you seek. If you kill me now your future of solitude and savagery will be sealed forever." She swallowed, seeing the way his dark eyes flashed with anger at her words.
"You lie, foolish girl. I have no wish to play games with you." His mouth opened, sharp pointed fangs extracting from his gums, glinting threateningly in the moonlight.
She flinched back as he stepped closer, holding her hands up, attempting to stop him, "I... I have a gift, or a curse, depending on how you see it. I can see things that are yet to be. I give you my word this is not trickery. I have known you were coming since I was a child!" he did pause at that, and she almost sighed in relief. "Fifteen years from now, I will die, but my line will go on. You must watch over my family, but do not interfer in the path that destiny takes."
"Make a deal with me," she offered, her tone stern, gaze serious. "I know what you are, Demon. I know what you are capable of and I would not dare to fib to one of your kind. Barter with me."
His expression was appraising her now, carefully. "Your name, girl. What is it?" He asked, lowly.
"Fiona." She told him, "Fiona Eilis McGee."
In the end, the vampire did end up sparing the life of the clairvoyant woman. She swore to him that her words were not a lie, and to seal it they created a blood oath. It was a special bond between a human and an immortal, ensuring that he could always find her no matter where she was.
A part of him didn't believe her, despite the fact that he had been around long enough to know that some humans were born with supernatural gifts. He'd seen it before.
Fifteen years later, he felt the pull, alerting him that she was near death. He traced her back to her location, and when he arrived, posing as a friend of Fiona, he learned from her husband that she had died moments ago while in childbirth.
He saw the infant, a daughter, named Aileen O'Connor. Fiona was right. She had predicted her own death years in advanced.
The vampire was not easily trusting, but the look in her eyes that night told him that she was being honest. That was why he really made a deal with her.
And when the time came, he would never be more thankful that he hadn't killed her the night that they met...
November 27th, 1993 (Ohio)
The vampire stood silently outside of the house, gazing up at the darkening night sky. He waited a little while after the light upstairs went out, listening for the slowing of the two adults' heartbeats as they drifted off to sleep.
As they were unconscious, he began scaling the white-painted walls, carefully sliding the window open and climbing into the nursery. It was pale blue and decorated tastefully, no doubt by the woman - Elizabeth. She was as beautiful as she was kind, he had seen it for himself as she grew up. She was a selfless human, even as a child.
It was a sad thing, that she would have to die someday, but her and her husband. It was rare for people to be pure both inside and out like they were, but he knew he couldn't interfere with their fates. It was his job to watch over them, through their lives, a silent guardian. He protected them, but he couldn't keep them from dying the natural deaths that they would face.
Snapping out of his thoughts when he heard a soft whimper, his dark eyes landed on the canopied crib in the center of the room.
Hesitating for only a moment, the vampire walked over and looked down, and caught his breath. Staring up at him were the most beautiful eyes he'd ever seen. A brilliant shade of blue and gray, flecked with green and gold. The six-month-old infant had a mop of dark brown hair on his head.
Tiny pale hands reached out as those mesmerizing orbs sparkled with tears, and the baby whimpered again.
Knowing he only had a few seconds until the child began to cry and the Hummels awoke, the vampire quickly bent down and scooped him up, holding him a little awkwardly. He had never actually held a baby before, but he had seen it done enough that he managed to figure it out.
"Hush now, little one." He said soothingly, allowing the small human to wrap his hand around his index finger, calming down slightly.
Sitting down in the rocking chair placed in the corner, he cradled the baby close, watching him, and feeling strangely emotional, which didn't happen often.
This was him, his mate that the boy's witch ancestory spoke of. He thought of the details she had given him. This boy was special. He would be the very last of his direct bloodline, as his parents would pass, and with his...differences, he would not have children of his own.
To his surprise, the vampire felt an overwhelming flood of affection for the boy he held.
It didn't matter that the child was different physically. That he wasn't considered "normal" medically. After all, who was a vampire to judge what was and wasn't normal? This tiny, fragile being in his arms was destined for him. He never asked for it, up until a few hundred years ago he thought he would be alone forever.
No, he didn't care that despite his DNA being that of a male, he had been born with the parts of a female. Because he hadn't known it at the time, but the moment he laid eyes on the child was when he first fell in love with him.
He would protect this child with his life. He knew he couldn't interfer in the boy's upbringing, at least not directly, and he knew from what Fiona said that the boy had a lot of suffering in his future, but none of it mattered, because the vampire would be there for him when the time came.
An hour went by so very quickly, and the immortal was almost reluctant to return the infant to his crib, but he was falling asleep again, and it wouldn't do him well if his parents walked in and saw him standing there.
The boy's eyes fluttered and looked at him again, almost questioningly. Smiling faintly, the vampire reached down and stroked his thumb down his rosy cheek.
"Do not fret, little one. I will never be too far away, we will meet again." Hesitating only for a second this time, he leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to the baby's forehead.
"Farewell, Kurt."
I know this was just a prologue of sorts, an introduction to tell you what this story will be about, but still, leave me a review and tell me if you think it was good or shitty, and if I should continue on with this.
Thank you for taking the time to read it!
