Disclaimer: I do not own Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy or any characters affiliated with the show. They’re the exclusive property of Hasbro, Toei for the Super Sentai footage, and I believe Netflix has the streaming rights for some seasons. |
Notes from the author: This actually started as part of a Yahoo Group I’d made sometime back in ‘99 adult Power Ranger fanfics. For those who don’t know, it was an old website where you could make message boards of just about everything as well as mailing lists. It takes place sometime after Double duty.
Just to warn you, this story is a little cringy as this was at least one of my first attempts, the other of which has long since been lost but I might rewrite it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading this as I did writing it back in the day.
Galactic lovers
By: Har-El
Kendrix was in her quarters aboard the Megaship. The Galaxy Rangers had moved there after the adventure before last. Leo stepped inside and saw her. He walked over and put a hand on her shoulder, startling her a bit. “Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked.
“Oh, nothing really,” Kendrix said, “Just thinking about Carolyn. It feels good to know that I had actually made a difference in her life.” That wasn’t exactly true. She had been thinking about Leo. He had really occupied her thoughts as of late, especially after he had told her right after the adventure.
‘You’ve made a real difference in my life too, Kendrix,’ Leo mused. “You make a difference every day,” he said out loud, “As a Ranger you’re a role model, a part of the Research and Development team, you make a difference by helping create new things, and you make a difference to the team just being part of it.”
Kendrix grinned. ‘You can still make a pretty woman smile, Corbett,’ Leo thought. “Kendrix, I was wondering...” He didn’t quite know how to finish what he wanted to say.
Kendrix turned and looked at Leo. “What?” she asked.
Leo found that he couldn’t go through with asking Kendrix out. “Oh, never mind,” he replied.
“What is it, Leo?”
“I was wondering if... you’d like to go to dinner with me sometime? I’ll understand if you don’t want to,” Leo said in a hurry.
“I’d love to,” Kendrix replied.
Leo was shocked. He didn’t think she would accept. “You would?”
Kendrix nodded. “I was thinking that I’d have to ask you,” Kendrix admitted, “You took long enough to ask me out.”
‘Actually, it was all I could do to keep from trying to kiss you,’ Leo mused to himself. “What can I say? I’m shy,” he replied, shrugging.
“I don’t see you being shy, Leo Corbett,” Kendrix said, “So, when do you want to go out? And where?”
“I’ve been hearing about a new nightclub opening, in the city,” Leo said, “How about there later on?”
Kendrix grinned. “Sounds good to me,” she said.
Leo looked deep into Kendrix’s eyes, enchanted. She found that all she could do was stare as well. It was like the first day they had met. He had literally ran into her and when he helped her up and their eyes met, it had taken Kai to get them to tear their gazes away from each other.
Kendrix also couldn’t tear her eyes away from Leo’s as he stepped close and leaned forward. All of a sudden, he leaned forward. She raised up slightly, to bring herself closer to his height. Their lips met in a gentle, sweet kiss.
It was several moments before the kiss ended. The need for air won out and when Leo broke away, Kendrix realized that she had her eyes closed. She opened them, to see Leo watching her. “I’ll see you then,” he murmured before walking away.
Later on that day, they met at the new nightclub, a place called Orion’s Tale Lounge. They were both in semi-formal civilian clothes. Kendrix was a short, pink dress and Leo was in a pair of his nicest pants and a polo shirt, but the latter had yet to show up as of yet.
Kendrix was the first to arrive and took a seat. “Now all I have to do is wait for Leo,” she said. She ordered a drink and waited on her date.
Leo came in a few minutes later, really nervous. He caught the eye of more than a few ladies, as he walked with the waiter to the table Kendrix was sitting at. “About time you showed up, Corbett,” Kendrix teased, “I was just about to leave.”
“Sorry, Kendrix,” Leo said as he sat down, “Kai needed to talk and just wouldn’t let up. Have you ordered yet?”
“Just a drink as I was waiting on you,” Kendrix said, “You’re looking very handsome, Leo."
“Thanks,” Leo replied, “And you look absolutely beautiful.”
Kendrix blushed. “Why, thank you,” she said. A waiter came by and they placed their orders. She fiddled with her glasses nervously, trying to think of something to say to Leo, but couldn’t think of a thing.
Leo was also having trouble finding something to say. ‘Here I am, finally on a date with Kendrix and I can’t start a conversation,’ he mused. All of a sudden, he heard music playing. It was then that he noticed that there was a dance floor. An idea suddenly came to him. “Kendrix, would you like to dance?” he asked his date.
“Sure, Leo,” Kendrix said.
Leo stood up and offered Kendrix his hand. She took it and he helped her to her feet and led her out to the dance floor. “I have to warn you, though,” he said, “I’m more than a bit rusty. I haven’t danced in ages.”
“Same here so I think we’re good,” Kendrix said. They started dancing and they were more than a bit clumsy at first, but they were getting better each minute.
“I don’t know what would make this night any better,” Kendrix said, as they sat down to eat. They had danced for a solid 20 minutes before their food even arrived at their table.
“Me either,” Leo replied, “Would you like to do this again sometime? Say, like, Tuesday?” Tuesday was only two days away.
“I’d love to,” Kendrix said, “I doubt we’ll be able to top tonight, but we can sure try.” Leo smiled, a rare event since his brother Mike had fallen to his apparent death. “You should smile more often, Leo.”
“I try, but it’s hard,” Leo said, the smile disappearing. “Since Mike died, I just don’t see much reason to smile very much.”
“You really miss him, don’t you?”
Leo nodded. “He was tough on me most of the time, but he was still my brother and I loved him,” he said, “I wish he was here.”
“He was only hard on you because he wanted you to make something of yourself,” Kendrix said, remembering her conversation with Mike right after they went to Mirinoi, not too long before he died. “It’s what most people would call tough love. What about your parents?”
Leo shook his head. “Growing up, our parents were never around,” Leo said, “They were always taking off, leaving Mike and me alone for weeks. One time, they left us at the house for two months solid.
“Mike has always been more of a father to me than our dad, even putting aside his personal life for me,” Leo added, “I guess that’s why his death has hit me so hard. When he turned 18, he moved out and took me with him.”
Kendrix nodded. “Which was probably for the best,” she said, “Didn’t your parents ever raise a fuss?”
Leo laughed. “As far as I know, they never even knew either of us left,” he said, “Carol and Jake, that’s our ‘parents’, never cared. I wouldn’t be surprised if the only reason they kept us around was for tax deductions.
“When I turned 13 years old and started getting interested in girls, it was Mike who took me aside and gave me the facts of life and not Jake. Let’s see... Mike was about 19, maybe 20.
“Most 19-20 year olds would loathe having a thirteen year old, even their brother, hanging around, but not Mike. He was more to me than even a brother. He was pretty much my father, too, and he was my best friend.”
“That’s great, Leo,” Kendrix replied, “But look on the bright side. You left that behind years ago. You can’t dwell on the past. You have to put that and eventually Mike’s death behind you.”
“Yeah, I know,” Leo said, “Enough about me. What about you? What was your family like growing up?”
“Pretty much the exact opposite,” Kendrix replied, “I’m an only child, so my parents doted on me and spoiled me. My mother was there when I turned 13 and... um, went through the natural female phase of life.” Leo looked puzzled for a moment, then it dawned on him. He blushed at the fact she even brought that up.
“My dad did the usual interrogation of my few dates,” Kendrix said, “Otherwise, I had a nice family life growing up. The only thing I ever missed was having a brother or a sister to share secrets and argue with.”
“At least you had consistent parents,” Leo said, “And I’m sure you had friends that were like brothers and sisters to you.”
Kendrix shook her head. “I didn’t really have friends,” she said, “Another thing I missed out on. I was what you’d probably consider a nerd. The few guys I went out on dates with were blind dates or pity dates. Then, when I turned 15, that changed.
“I started having periods at 13, but I didn’t start filling out until I was almost 15,” Kendrix continued, “And then, all of a sudden, my mind split between interest in science and computers and interest in boys. And boys started noticing me more. I guess I started filling out more. I’m sorry, Leo. I’m babbling here.”
“No, it’s all right,” Leo said, “I love just listening to you talk.” Kendrix turned a slight shade of red. “Didn’t your parents die not too long ago?”
Kendrix nodded. “About, oh, 7-8 months ago, right before I turned 21,” she said, “That’s what got me interested in GSA and Terra Venture. My mother had always wanted me to explore new planets and such and I joined the GSA because of her.”
Leo grinned. “I wish I had parents like that when I was growing up,” he said, “Mike tried to completely fill the void and don’t get me wrong, because he did a good job of raising me, but he lacked in a few areas. I guess a person needs a mother’s care growing up as well as a father’s.”
Kendrix put a hand on his. They sat in silence for a while, finishing up the food they had ordered. It was a bit cold, after their lengthy heart to heart, but neither noticed.
A little while later, Leo was walking Kendrix to her quarters. When they got there, Kendrix turned to her date. “I had a great time tonight, Leo,” she said, “And I’m glad we had that heart to heart.”
“Yeah, me too,” Leo said. He smiled for the second time that night. “You know, I can honestly say that my Jake contributed one thing to my character.”
“What’s that?”
“How to properly treat a lady,” Leo said, “Not directly, though. Jake was a big romance fanatic, surprisingly. He had a bunch of Harlequin books and said that they were for Carol, but I was always catching him reading them the few times that they were home.
“When they were gone, I used to read them a lot, before I realized that they were ‘girly books’. I learned a lot from those romance books. I can also attribute one thing to Carol: she taught me how to dance. It was beginners stuff that Mike helped me perfect later, but it is something I can credit to her.”
“And they both taught you well,” Kendrix said, “Well, I guess this is good night.”
“Yeah, I guess so,” Leo said. He moved closer, leaned forward, and their lips met in a gentle, sweet kiss.
Instead, the kiss deepened. Leo’s arms wrapped around Kendrix’s waist and gently pulled her closer, into the kiss. Her arms slipped around his neck. If they were capable of coherent thought, they would have noticed that they had stepped into her quarters and were slowly making their way to the bed.
The need for air eventually won out and they reluctantly broke the kiss. Leo kissed his way down to Kendrix’s neck and she found herself in something akin to heaven on Earth, er Terra Venture.
“Leo,” Kendrix said, “Maybe we shouldn’t... mmm.” She moaned softly when Leo kissed a specially sensitive spot on the side of her neck. She didn’t want to do it, but she reluctantly stepped back, out of his embrace.
“Leo, maybe we should stop,” Kendrix said half-heartedly, “I think we’re going a bit too fast.” Like she should talk. She was severely affected by Leo’s nibbling on her neck.
Leo was slowly composing himself. Kendrix noticed that he, too, was affected by their little make out session. She had thought she felt his hard, er member, gently pressed against her when they were kissing.
“You’re...” Leo said then cleared his throat, to at least partially mask the huskiness in his voice. “You’re right, Kendrix. Mind if I use your bathroom for a minute, so I can splash some cold water on my face?”
“Sure, Leo,” Kendrix said.
Leo stepped into the small bathroom. A few minutes later, he came back out. “Good night, Kendrix,” he said. To keep from having such a heated exchange again, he kissed her on the cheek.
“Good night, Leo,” Kendrix said. Leo stepped out the door, leaving her in a rather confused state. It took her forever, but she finally fell asleep that night.
The next morning, the Rangers gathered in the “lounge”. Leo and Kendrix pretty much refused to look at each other, and Damon, Kai, and Maya spotted that fact right away. “Hey, Leo,” Kai said, “Can we talk to you a minute?”
Leo walked over to where Kai and Damon were, which was across the room from where Kendrix was distractedly talking with Maya. “What’s up?” Leo asked.
“What’s with you and Kendrix, man?” Damon said, “Didn’t the date go well last night?”
Leo sighed. He was starting to wish he hadn’t told them about the date. “It went great,” Leo said.
“Then what’s the problem?” Kai asked.
“Nothing,” Leo said, “Look, guys, I’ve said all that I should. I don’t feel right about talking about it, okay?”
“Whoa, no need to be defensive,” Damon said, holding up his hands. “We were just asking.”
“Sorry, guys,” Leo said, “I just didn’t get a lot of sleep last night.” Damon and Kai both grinned. “It’s not like that. I just had a lot on my mind.” They gave him a “yeah right” look. He shook his head and went back to sit down. His eyes wandered over to Kendrix, and their eyes met. They both turned away immediately.
The next day, Kendrix and Leo went on another date. It was at the same restaurant and dance club, so both were dressed up again. They picked at their food, trying to cut into the uncomfortable silence. “Kendrix, I wanted to apologize for the other night, in your room,” Leo said, “I don’t know what came over me.”
“Don’t apologize, Leo,” Kendrix said, “As my mom always said, it takes two to tango.” Leo smiled. She was getting him to do that more and more. A song played. “Oh, I love that song,” she said.
An idea sprang on Leo, just as it did two nights before. “Would you care to dance?” he asked, standing up and offering his hand.
“Sure,” Kendrix replied, taking Leo’s hand. He helped her to her feet and led the way out to the dance floor. They danced for a little while, but not as long as they had on their first date.
Afterwards, Leo walked Kendrix to her quarters again. “This is becoming a habit,” he joked.
Kendrix laughed. “Yeah, I guess it is,” she said.
They came up on Kendrix’s quarters. Their lips met in a good night kiss and the exchange became heated again. This time, she gave in. As they crossed the room to her bed, they started slowly undressing each other. The dress she had on came off first, followed by Leo’s shirt.
Leo’s pants were next. Kendrix’s eyes went wide as she glanced down the length of his body. She would have never guessed him to be so... er, well endowed. That tidbit of information was obvious, even through his boxers.
Kendrix’s bra was next. Leo glanced down the length of her body, his appreciation obvious. “Oh, wow,” he murmured. She blushed at his reaction. They kissed again and she laid down on the bunk, with him on top of her. He broke off the kissing and slowly made his way down her body.
When he reached her breasts, Leo lapped at one of the erect nipples, teasing it with his tongue and teeth. Kendrix closed her eyes and moaned softly. As he nursed like a baby, her hands were combing through his hair.
Leo finally kept moving down Kendrix’s body, kissing and licking her naval almost perversely. She squirmed and moaned softly. “Ah, a bit on the ticklish side, are we?” he teased. She nodded. It was all she could do at the moment as she was beyond words from the pleasure.
Leo worked his way down Kendrix’s body. “I didn’t take your panties off before because I wanted to do that now,” he explained, as he gently tugged her panties down past her knees and then slid them right off. He sat back and looked at her fully naked body. “Oh, wow,” he repeated.
Kendrix felt a little silly lying there naked. She was also getting very hot. “Mm, just shut up and eat me already,” she begged.
“Never been one to disappoint a lady,” Leo said and buried his face in the damp curls between Kendrix’s legs. She moaned softly, as his tongue did things to her that she never even imagined. She felt herself climaxing and she came with a soft cry.
“Oh man,” Kendrix said, “I have never came that hard.” She gave Leo a sheepish grin. “I guess you can tell that this is my first time, huh?”
“Don’t worry about it, Kendrix,” Leo said, lying down next to Kendrix. “It’s my first time, too.”
“It is?” Leo nodded. “Then how did you know....”
“I told you before,” Leo said, “Remember all of those romance books my dad had I told you about?” Kendrix nodded. “Well, romance wasn’t all he was interested in. He had several books on Kama Sutra that he left lying around. I don’t think he meant for me to read some of them, but I did and I can be a very attentive reader when I want to be.”
“Oh, well at least one of us knows what to do,” Kendrix murmured.
“Are you sure you want to take this any further? I mean, we can stop right now, if you’re not comfortable with going any further,” Leo replied.
“Oh no,” Kendrix said, “You’re not getting off that easily, Leo Corbett.” She gently pushed Leo onto his back and gave him a kiss. After the heated kiss, she slowly made her way down his body. She nibbled on his earlobe, eliciting a moan from her lover. “Mm, that’s one erogenous zone."
Kendrix made her way down the length of Leo’s body much like he had hers, teasing the nipples as he had. In a way, they were what was sometimes called mirror opposite lovers in that respect, his left one being the most sensitive, and hers being her right one.
Kendrix worked her way even lower, until she met the waist band of his boxer shorts. With a teasing slowness, she worked them down and off. As his manhood sprang free from the silky confines of his boxer shorts, she gasped. It was bigger than she had even imagined, both when she first saw him semi-naked and in her rather wet dreams.
With no clue about foreplay past that point, Kendrix simply lowered her face to Leo’s manhood and practically engulfed it, causing another moan to come rumbling from deep within her lover.
Kendrix worked it in and out of her mouth slowly, not wanting to accidentally cause herself to gag. She felt Leo’s body drawing up like a bowstring and then hot cum spewed forth, into her mouth. She couldn’t help it. She drew back, gagging. “I’m sorry,” she whispered.
“It’s all right, Kendrix,” Leo whispered back, “I didn’t expect you to be able to swallow the first time.” Kendrix couldn’t help but smile at the implication. So far, he had been a terrific lover and she found herself looking forward to any repeats in the near future.
“We don’t have to continue, if you don’t want to,” Leo said, “We’ve already done a lot, without going all of the way. I mean, if you still have your, umm, hymen, I know going all of the way will be painful for you or at least uncomfortable.”
‘That’s sweet of Leo,’ Kendrix thought, ‘Putting my comfort and needs before his.’ She thought about what Leo said, but shook her head. “I want to do this,” she said, “We can’t stay virgins forever, now can we?” It was a rhetorical question, but he shook his head anyway. “Do you have a condom?”
“Sure I do,” Leo said, “If you’d just hand me my pants.” Kendrix leaned over the side of the bed and hauled his pants up from the floor and handed them to him. He reached into one of the pockets and fished out his wallet. Inside, there was what looked to be a new condom.
“You were planning on this, weren’t you?” Kendrix asked, grinning.
Leo shook his head. “No, but Mike always told me I should always have one on me at all times, just in case,” he said, as he slipped it over his penis. When it was on, Kendrix shuffled to where she was straddling his hips. Then, she slowly lowered herself onto his manhood and his hips raised up.
They both moaned, as Leo’s penis met resistance, Kendrix’s hymen. It was easy to slowly and gently break through and she felt pure pleasure instead of pain. “That didn’t hurt, did it?” he asked when she gasped. She shook her head.
In a sudden, surprising move, Leo flipped over, to where Kendrix was on bottom. He gently slid in and out of her for several minutes. “LEO!!!” she cried out, when they climaxed together.
“Oh, man,” Leo said, sliding out of Kendrix and plopping down on the bed beside her, obviously worn out. “I can tell why you were given a wildcat for a zord.” She bopped him on the shoulder.
The two worked their way under the covers to get some sleep. Kendrix snuggled up to her lover and the two of them were quick to fall asleep, from sheer exhaustion after making love.
The next morning, Kendrix woke at the first rays of the simulated sun aboard Terra Venture, which even shined through the windows on the Megaship. ‘Was it just a dream?’ she mused. When the “pillow” under her head stirred slightly, she looked up and knew that it hadn’t been a dream. She kissed Leo’s chest and fell back to sleep.
Kendrix woke a little later, to see Leo up and getting dressed. “You weren’t planning on just leaving me without saying good-bye, were you?” she asked, sitting up.
“Sorry, Kendrix,” Leo said, giving Kendrix a kiss as he sat back down on the bed to slide on his pants. “But it’s almost nine o’clock and I promised to meet Damon and Kai in about a half hour and you just looked so beautiful I didn’t have the heart to wake you. I was going to leave a note, at least.”
“Leo, we need to talk about this,” Kendrix said, “What happened last night was a wonderful thing, but it was also a little fast and that scares me a bit. I think that we need to decide where we go from here. I’d think that going back to just friends isn’t exactly an option, because of last night. I think we pushed things a little fast, don’t you?”
Leo sighed and nodded. “Yeah, I guess we did,” he said, “Do you regret last night?”
Kendrix shook her head. “Don’t get me wrong,” she said, “I don’t regret what we did for a second. But I do regret that we pushed the relationship from friends with a strong mutual attraction to lovers so quickly. My mom said that I should only share my bed with the man that I truly love and who truly loves me. Do you love me?”
Leo thought about that for a second. “I don’t know, Kendrix,” he replied, “I honestly don’t know.” He let that hang in the air for a moment. “I’ve got to go. The guys are probably waiting on me and it’ll take me a good 20 minutes to get across town.” He stood up and buttoned his pants, zipped them up, and grabbed his jacket. “We’ll talk about this later, all right?”
Kendrix nodded and Leo left. With a sigh, she laid back and just looked up at the ceiling. “Even if you don’t love me, Leo Corbett, I love you,” she murmured softly. She got up and got dressed.
Outside, Leo was working on his jacket and heading down the hallway. “Leo?” He turned, to see Damon and Kai come walking up.
“Oh hey, guys,” he said, “Just who I was looking for.”
“You were looking for us… in Kendrix’s room?” Kai asked.
“Yeah, well, I just stopped by to ask her if she had seen you,” Leo said. He shrugged.
“Oh,” Damon said, “So, how did the date go?”
“It went great,” Leo said, “I really wined and dined Kendrix, so to speak. What’s this sudden interest in my s... dating?” Kai and Damon both raised their eyebrows when he almost said sex life.
“Well, come on,” Kai said, “Commander Stanton wanted to see us.” Leo and Damon followed Kai towards Terra Venture’s control tower.
Kendrix came out a second later, tucking in her shirt. She stopped as she saw the guys walking on down the corridor and sighed. ‘I guess I should go after them,’ she thought, ‘But I need time away from Leo, to think.’ With that, she headed down the corridor, in the opposite direction.
Later that day, they were in battle. Scorpius had sent down Furio, some sting wingers, and a new monster named Tyramantius, a large, Tyrannosaurus like monster that was made from what scanners revealed to be quadramantium, an alien metal from the farthest regions of the galaxy. It was big, but not quite zord height yet.
The Rangers found that it was also nearly indestructible. “Rangers, star formation,” Leo commanded. The Rangers put their transdaggers into place, and a large energy bolt issued forth and struck Tyramantius.
The monster absorbed the energy and flung it back at the Rangers. Almost all of them dove out of the way, except for Kendrix. She was hit badly and was knocked out before she was even hit the ground, her suit shimmering away as she flew through the air.
“KENDRIX!!!” Leo screamed, running to his lover’s side. He quickly worked Kendrix’s helmet off and felt for a pulse and checked to see if she was breathing. The pulse was weak and her breathing was a bit shallow, but she was still alive. He hit his communicator. “Alpha, teleport Kendrix back to the Megaship, NOW!!!”
“You’ve got it, Leo,” Alpha said. In a brief flash of pink, Kendrix was teleported away. Leo stood up and faced the monster, who seemed to be enjoying the fact that he had seriously wounded Kendrix.
“You just made your first, and last, mistake, Tyramantius,” Leo said and with a near inhuman cry, he leapt at the creature, drawing his quasar saber and transdagger in mid-leap. He charged both and did a X-slash. Tyramantius went down in a shower of metallic sparks. Long, deep scars showed where he had cut it.
Tyramantius growled. “You’ll pay for that, Red Ranger,” it said, pulling a vial of liquid from behind his back. He downed the contents, and instantly grew. “Now what do you have to say for yourself?”
“Just 3 words, big and ugly,” Leo yelled, “Galactabeasts, arise!!!” A deafening roar marked the appearance of Leo’s Galactabeast, the huge and mighty lion.
Leo jumped up to land on its head and reached to the heavens ith his transdagger. An energy bolt hit it, jolted through Leo, and flowed through his Galactabeast, transforming it instantly into a Galactazord. “Guys, we need Galaxy Megazord power, now,” he said, over the communicators, to the other Rangers.
“Let’s do it,” Damon said.
“We need Galaxy Megazord power now,” the three Rangers left said. In seconds, the other Galactazords came barreling onto the battlefield, including the Wildcat, which came, even though Kendrix wasn't in the battle. The Galactazords came together, to form the Galaxy Megazord.
“You can never defeat me, Rangers,” Tyramantius roared.
“That’s what you think, Tyramantius,” Leo shouted, as he took control of the Galaxy Megazord. “This one’s for you, Kendrix. Condor missile mode, now.” In a brief flash of green light, the Condor Galactazord appeared on the Megazord’s arm.
“X marks the spot.” Using manual targeting scanners, Leo aimed the Condor for the middle of the “X” he made on the monster a earlier. “And... FIRE!!!”
The Condor flew at the monster, turning into a missile of pure energy. It went right through Tyramantius and returned to its perch. Tyramantius’ eyes went wide, and it fell back, and was instantly destroyed.
Overly concerned about Kendrix, Leo was the first of the four to teleport back to the Megaship. There, he stormed to the medical bay, barely taking the time to power down before he did. Alpha was waiting for him. “Where is she?” he demanded.
“Whoa there, Leo,” Alpha said, “Kendrix regained consciousness and left almost as soon as she got here. She stubbornly insisted on going back to her quarters, without any help. She should be there.”
Leo didn’t even stop to say thanks, as he stormed out. Maya, Damon, and Kai were coming in at the same time, and wisely stepped out of his way as he walked out of the room.
“Whoa, where’s the fire, Leo?” Damon asked as the Red Ranger went past. Leo ignored him and kept on walking. Him, Kai, and Maya stepped into the medical bay. “Alpha, what’s up with Leo?”
“He’s worried about Kendrix, Damon,” Maya said, “Can’t you tell?”
“Where is Kendrix, anyway?” Kai asked.
“She woke up immediately after Leo had me teleport her here and went to her room,” Alpha said, “Leo left to go check on her, I guess.”
“I think we’d better give those two sometime alone,” Damon said. Kai and Maya agreed.
Leo quickly made his way to Kendrix’s quarters and knocked softly on the door. “Come in,” he heard her call and the door opened. She was lying in bed and lifted her head when the door opened and smiled when she saw him standing in the doorway. “Hey there,” she said softly, as he crossed the room.
“Hey yourself,” Leo said just as softly, “Are you alright?”
Kendrix winced as she sat up. “Yeah, I am, thanks to you,” she said, “A little sore, but no serious injuries. Did you destroy Tyramantius?” Leo nodded and she let out a big sigh of relief.
“Kendrix, I’ve been thinking about what you said earlier,” Leo said, “And the question has been burning in my mind since. The few seconds I held you in my arms after you were hurt, right before I teleported you away, I realized something.”
“Let me guess,” Kendrix said, turning away. “You don’t really love me and last night was a mistake. You didn’t really mean for it to happen and...”
Leo stopped Kendrix’s babbling by gently turning her around and he gently grabbed her hands. “I realized something, but it wasn’t that,” he said, “I realize that you mean more to me than anything. The only person that I hold in higher regard is Mike and I think that’s understandable.”
As she nodded, Kendrix’s heart started beating really fast and she was so sure that Leo could hear it or at least feel it pounding by holding her hands. “What are you trying to say, Leo?” she asked, “I think I have an idea, but I need to hear it. Please?” She knew that she was begging, but it didn’t matter to her.
“You don’t have to beg, Kendrix,” Leo said, “I love you, more than life itself. I’d gladly give my life for you, if that’s ever necessary.”
Tears appeared in Kendrix’s eyes as he said that. “I love you too, Leo,” she said.
They moved closer and their lips met in a gentle, sweet kiss and they knew that their lives, as friends, as boyfriend and girlfriend, as Rangers, and now as lovers would never be the same again, now that they admitted to themselves and each other that they were in love.
The end
End notes: Before I leave off with this fanfic, I thought I’d say some of this may or may not look familiar to anyone that have read Leo/Kendrix stories on fanfiction dot net as someone appears to have found my old site at some point and borrowed a portion of this for their stories as well as a fanon site or whatever it’s called.
I’m not saying they plagiarized me didn’t really borrow a lot and I’m actually fine with it. I’m not even going to name names and am not looking to start a witch hunt. I can even prove it if need be but I’d rather not since as I said, I’m fine with it. I’m flattered and think there couldn’t be enough Leo/Kendrix stories. However, I just thought I’d mention it as I didn’t want anybody that’s read their stories thinking I plagiarized them. Anyway, until next time, Catch ya on the flipside.
