Bookmark around my finger
Blair and Dan are back from an open air cinema night at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
She is growing to like how Brooklyn is much more tranquil than
Manhattan, but she would gulp down her own vocal chords rather than
confess that to Dan.
“Did you enjoy the movie?” He asks, wrapping an arm around her waist.
“A lot. However, to be a Belgian independent film I expected much
less people to be there. Who could ever imagine that Brooklin was such a
nest for intellectual people?” She states as they keep walking towards
DUMBO.
“You’re saying it as if it’s a bad thing.” Dan frowns.
“Well,
it is, if you’re in the middle of a park, with the person you love,
watching sunset turning to night, surrounded by the magic of Manhattan
skyline by night… and not be in the condition to do something about
that!” She confesses, squeezing his forearm.
“Why does it sound like something not suitable for kids?” He raises his eyebrow at her, in a very sexy way.
“Because it is.” She chuckles. “And since there’s an alley that’s pretty isolated…”
No sooner said that done.
Taking advantage that no one is around, Blair slightly shoves Dan against a wall and pounces on him, immediately after.
She kisses him, as if she wants to devour him and it takes Dan only one second to kiss her back with the same eagerness.
It’s easy for Blair to have free access to his neck, since it’s summer, so Dan wears only a T-shirt, even a low-cut one.
The temptation to suck and nibble that soft skin is too strong for her to resist it.
“Let’s say this was a sneak preview!” She smirks, parting from him.
“Woah! Is it a hickey?” Dan chuckles, mirroring himself into the rear view mirror of a car parked there.
“It would seem so…” Blair replies with fake innocence.
“Is it Brooklyn that makes you so horny?” Dan clicks his tongue.
“Oh silly, it’s just you, in whatever corner of the Universe we are!” She pulls him closer for another demanding kiss.
“I’ve never been happier for being so close to home!” He grins, grabbing her by the hand.
And he’s right, because only after five minutes they’re in his bedroom, where they’re free to pick up where they left off.
A very much easier task, once all of their clothes are on the floor.
“I guess you’re right, love,” Dan murmurs, on top of Blair, as he kisses her his way, down from her chin to her belly, lingering a lot on her breast, with the correct balance of delicacy and determination.
“Huh! About what?” She shivers with pleasure under him, especially once his mouth reaches the centre of her womanhood.
“Covered or not by the blankets, doing this in the park would have been a little too showy!” He makes her laugh, right before diving his head between her legs.
His mouth and his tongue, also with a little help from his fingers, leads Blair to have multiple orgasms.
Once he surfaces, Blair kisses him, tasting herself, more than ready to switch position and take good care of his neglected cock.
Dan startles the moment she grabs it, with all the intentions of making him feel so good.
“Oh yes, please…just like this… bit moreeee yeeeeaah,
just like this..” Dan moans, enjoying the welcoming warmth of Blair’s
mouth and tongue, as her hands softly caress that very erogenous zone of
his.
Blair takes him on the verge of the highest pleasure,
but before it’s too late she guides his fully erected cock inside her,
slowly, gradually, her eyes never leaving Dan’s.
They both enjoy their frantic ride, until they can’t hold back
anymore and lay down, beside each other, exhausted in the most ecstatic
way possible.
“Okay, time for a quick shower.” Blair decides, once she has recovered enough.
When she’s back, Dan is already wearing his boxers and he’s working at his laptop.
Not his regular one.
Gossip Girl’s one.
“Uh,
did someone send something interesting?” She asks casually, reaching
him in bed, only with the towel wrapped around herself.
“It seems so.” He replies, mysteriously, before locking the
screen. “Okay, time for me to have a quick shower. And when I’m back
everything must remain the way I left it.”
There’s a clear warning in his tone, as Blair raises her hands innocently.
“I just wonder why we didn’t take a shower together.” She frowns.
“Very wise question. Maybe it’s because we don’t want to spoil each other too much.” He winks at her.
- Please, please, please, my love, don’t figure out the password once more! Also because ‘Bl41r-4nd-D4ň-4ev3r’ is super soppy and you would make fun of me for ages. I need to change it to a more professional one. - He ponders as he leaves.
When he’s back, everything is just as he left it, save for a small detail.
Blair took off the towel and now she’s wearing his checkered powder baby blue and deep blue shirt, left open.
“Uhhh, sexy!” He grins, kissing her, as he rubs himself dry inside his bathrobe.
“I guess I’m gonna take it away with me, because I happen to love this shirt.”
“But it’s my fave, too!” Dan protest.
“But, my love, our relationship would be imperfect if you didn’t let me win the important battles.” She counters.
“Oh, so this is an important battle?” He chuckles, his mouth just a few inches from hers.
“Mm. You have no idea how much it is. Besides, this is
the shirt you wore when you gave my life a direction. It’s something a
girl can’t forget.” She murmurs against his lips, kissing him, as her
hands wander through his still slightly wet curls.
“Well, I guess I can’t offer any resistance against such a plea.” He answers, kissing her back.
“So, the shirt will come with me. Good news. You can keep your
granda’s awful tie you used to match with it. You could also burn it,
but.. whatever!” She shrugs.
“You’re so impossible!” He laughs.
“And I also can’t resist your fluffy hair, but it’s not like I can cut a lock, right?”
Dan prudently backs off.
“I
guess our relationship will remain with a hint of imperfection, because
there’s no possible way I’m going to let you win even this battle,
too!” He retorts. “And don’t even plan to take some scissors while I'm
asleep, because I would eventually notice that.”
“Fine!” His girlfriend surrenders, wrapping herself inside his shirt even more.
Dan resumes his job.
“Could you tell me at least about who the blast is about?” Blair casually asks as she uses her nail blade, beside him.
“Of course, I won’t!” Dan strikes back.
“It’s about Serena, right? Let me guess, she and Carter crashed a party!”
“Nope.” Dan snorts, as he keeps typing.
“Did Chuck and Raina buy a hotel together? Another one?”
“Nope, and If you don’t stop I swear I’ll write one about you!” Dan rolls his eyes.
“Ah-ah , so you admitted that it’s not about me!” Blair grins.
“I almost preferred it when you managed to figure out my password and saw the whole thing by yourself.” Her boyfriend sighs.
“Yeah, me, too, when you used the date of some important moments between us was beyond cute.” She caresses his face, kissing him sweetly.
“Fine. It’s about Ivy. She’s up to something, taking advantage of the fact that Lily is on a holiday with my dad, as they’re trying to fix things between them.” He decides to confess, right before making the blast public.
“Oh. So I guess that I should call Lily tomorrow and persuade her into reading ‘Gossip Girl’ a bit more often.”
“Nice from you to think about warning her.” Dan
smiles, closing the laptop. “And I guess it’s time for me to think about
my next novel, too.”
“Any idea yet?” Blair asks him.
“Enough with the social satire; this time I was aiming more to romance.” Dan reveals, with a smile.
“Uhh, nice. Do you already have a plot?” Asks Blair, more and more thrilled.
“ «The church was full of their friends and relatives;
neither of them wanted to miss that special day. He was standing in
front of the altar, trying to tame his heart that wanted to get out from
his chest. He was waiting for her to reach him, beyond any possible
kind of happiness, but also extremely nervous. Would she come?»” Dan
starts his tale.
“Would she? I guess she should… unless she’s a complete idiot!” Blair makes him smile.
“«And there she came. He turned to look at her. Beautiful is an understatement, she always was, but that day… she was like a goddess. She was so radiant. She seemed to bright the whole church up as she walked down the aisle, holding her bouquet of peonies at heart level; her heart that maybe was beating half as fast as her soon to be husband’s one, which already means that it beat frantically.»”
Dan stops, noticing that Blair is staring at him, speechless.
“Blair? What’s wrong? Was it too soapy?”
“Nope. Not at all. It’s just… how do you know about the peonies?” She stared at him, bewildered.
Dan smiles his crookedest smile.
“I know everything about you, my love. Sometimes I guess I know you even more than I know myself, and…”
Dan can’t speak any more, because Blair has pulled him to her for a kiss.
“But now, please, go on with the novel.” She pleads.
“«She was getting closer and closer as that Vivienne Westwood dress seemed to dance around her…»”
“What?! Excuse me, did you mistake me for your punk-addicted little sister?” She snaps.
Dan chuckles.
“Just
kidding. «Of course she was wrapped in a Vera Wang bright white dress.
No strasses needed, because her skin already glowed naturally, more than
any diamond.»”
“You’re so good at this game, Humphrey.” She murmurs, as she closes her eyes to picture it better in her mind. “What else?”
“«The
bodice of her dress seemed to have been suggested by both Grace Kelly
and Audrey Hepburn: long sleeves, fitted, high-necked, a breathtaking
elegance that only pretended to be pudic, since all the floral laces
created a very intriguing see-through effect. But the gown was not
princess-like. There were layers of satin that created movement, almost
without logic. So unpredictable, just like her.»”
“Oh, Dan.” She sighs in awe, her eyes still closed.
“So, any advice about how the groom should be dressed?”
Blair opens her eyes.
“Well, as long as he wears Armani, he can pick any style and colour!” She smirks, as she ruffles his hair.
“Oh. So… just an Armani. She’s a bride with such low standards!”
He makes her laugh, before kissing her. “However, « She has a detail.»”
“Which detail?” Blair grows curios.
“Something
black. It can be a bracelet, a thin belt around her waist, a pair of
earrings or, even more likely, one of those headbands of hers that he
pretends to hate, not to let her find out how he’s so fond of them.” He
reveals.
“Oh. Even at University?”
“Especially at University!” He corrects her, kissing her temple.
“But, Dan, why does she have to wear a black detail on her special day?”
“Because she always has to remind herself of her tiny dark side.”
Blair slightly parts from him.
“Oh. Something that could scare the groom away.”
Dan holds both of her hands, to keep her close.
“Something that drives the groom crazy. Because it only brings out
all the good about her.” He smiles, resting his forehead against hers.
“Oh, Dan!”
She kisses him so deeply and for such a long time that they inevitably end up making love once more.
“However, Blair, I didn’t mean to scare you. I mean, we’ve been
together for something more than one year; I know it’s rather soon to
already think of… err… publishing that book.” Dan babbles, a little
nervous, as he caresses her soft hair, while she’s resting her head on
his chest.
His shirt, never leaving her naked body.
“Well, Dan, all those paragraphs you ‘wrote’ before made me feel anything but scared.”
“Huh?” He startles.
She raises her gaze to face him.
“Being
with you makes me feel nothing but safe, beloved and respected.
Becoming a better version of myself day after day. Only a complete idiot
would want to escape from all of this!”
“So, Blair Cornelia Waldorf, will you eventually want me to… publish that book?” He asks her, his eyes teary.
She kisses him, teary as well.
“Yes, I will. And I think you should already start looking for an
editor. And I can’t wait to think about every single detail of the…book
presentation!”
“Sounds so good.” He murmurs, daydreaming the whole thing.
“So, Daniel Randolph Humphrey?”
“Yes?”
“Should I expect a … bookmark around my finger anytime soon?”
Dan smiles, taking her left hand and kissing the knuckle of her ring finger.
“Sooner than you guess, my love.”
