Reviews for Can never be too preparedBy : kagomeisawsome26 |
Well, leave it to Sheldon to have a hazmat suit just in case something like this went down. Also leave it to Sheldon to be kind of a dick when it comes to mourning someone who just died. Still and all, I think the root cause of what he's doing is concern. He wants everyone to be safe before he allows them to grieve.
The only criticism I have is that the tense shifts sometimes. The story starts out in the past tense, but then shifts to the present tense for the rest of it. It's not a huge problem or anything, since once that shift happens it stays consistent. It might even be the right way to "catch up" to the present in a story written in the present tense. I've only ever written one, so I'm not really sure how it's done myself.
At any rate, a well done little piece, and it's nice that this has gotten you back into writing!
Hahah, you really went to town on your own challenge! Characters can die? Slaughter 'em! and so if Amy and Leonard didn't survive... is Sheldon gonna take Penny off to his survivalist condo and have some sparks fly? Post viral romance? It all get a little mad max with him having a few slave girls?
I only saw a few episodes but it does feel very in character for what I remember of Sheldon.
