A/N: Another tough chapter to write because, in all probability, this situation wouldn’t occur without guns pointing at the characters, especially Tony. So I apologize right here and now if Tony seems way to OOC about this, but otherwise the chapter could conceivably go on forever. Please don’t hate me! This chapter is for Mulle, my third reviewer. You are probably right in your thoughts about the characters, and I just basically wrote this as a revenge story. I have noticed that Gibbs has these occasional moments, if you pay attention, where he has a small but tender touching moments with other male characters who are in the episode. But like I said, Gibbs barely acts out on it in my story.
Chapter Six: The Real Game Begins Friday night at McGee’s apartment was usually full of some form of sound. Either the ticking of his type-writer was being mixed with classical music, or else the sounds of gun-fire or the clash of swords. But tonight it was quieter than usual. Tim had some music softly playing as he went around finishing some cleaning. He wanted tonight to go well. Looking at the clock, he had a few minutes to go before Tony was due to arrive, as per their deal. His computer was turned off and the lights were generally lowered. From his writing desk and from his bedroom he had lit some musk incense to create a better mood. He knew Tony would suspect something... suss, form the minute he walked in, but for the moment, he didn’t care. Tim was nervous. It felt like the anxiety that comes with a first date mixed with confessing something terrible yet truthful. If things went to plan, it would be both. A knock at the door interrupted his thoughts. Going over to his door and looking through the peep-hole, he saw Tony standing at the door with a back pack hanging from one shoulder. Tim opened the door. “Evening Tony,” he said. “Hey McGee,” Tony answered as he stepped in. “Wow, I like what you’ve done with the place. It almost reflects your feminine side to a t.” He placed his bag on the couch and opened it to take out a six pack of beer. “Glass?” Tim offered. “Sure, these are to share,” Tony answered. Tim grabbed two beer glasses form his cupboard and put them on the coffee table. He and Tony poured a beer for themselves and they both took a seat, Tony on the couch and Tim on a nearby arm chair. “Here’s to another successful week,” Tim said, holding up his glass. “Moreso for you than me McGee, but here’s to it anyway.” Tony smiled weakly as he clinked his glass with Tim’s and took a swig. “I suppose you are wondering what I have planned for you in your twenty four hours under my thumb?” Tim asked. “I do, but first I want to know what that smell is? It’s nice,” Tony answered. “It’s musk,” Tim answered, taking another sip of his beer. “Really?” Tony asked, raising an eyebrow. “Yeah. Before midnight clicks by, I want to ask you something Tony. Well, a few somethings to be correct,” Tim explained. “I’m all ears and hopefully answers.” Tony muttered. “I want to ask you what you think of me, in all honesty. Macho posturing and office rank aside, what do you really think of me?” “Well Tim, I think that you are a good man with a good heart and too much computer knowledge to be considered sane. You may be weak at times, but you know what you are doing for the most part.” Tony answered. “Most part?” Tim asked. “Well, there was that time you had Gibbs, Kate and me bust down the door of a slumber party while chasing an online lead. That was embarrassing. And the times you’ve gone fumbling blindly through poison ivy. Might have given us clues, but you were being too headstrong.” Tony smiled at the memories then looked at Tim and his expression went back to being sincere. “Truth is McGee, I usually compete with you because you seem to be the easiest to beat. And also because if I challenged Gibbs or Ziva I’d be de-sexed faster than you can ask me if my balls had dropped literally. But it’s never personal. Even getting that book wasn’t personal, just to wind you up.” “Yeah, well, it did a little, but I think the combination of me not always reading you correctly and you coming down on me too often led to me punching you out. I’m sorry I did that though.” McGee explained, looking a little sheepish. “It’s okay McGee. And just so you know, your punches are harder than a feather tickle.” Tony laughed lightly and McGee did too. “Well, thank you for respecting me, even if you don’t always show it.” Tim said, “Well, now to turn the table. Since we are having a deep and meaningful, what do you think of me?” Tony asked back. Tim took a moment to consider the phrasing of his answer. “Is this including or excluding your continuous challenging me on a masculine level?” “Without. We both know what we think of each other when we do those things.” “Well, I think you are a brave man who wants to do his very best and to be the best agent in NCIS after Gibbs. I think you can be charming when you put your mind to it, as well as considerate and friendly. I just think that you often forget where the line is.” Tim put down his beer and looked at his wall clock. Five minutes to midnight. Tony took a fleeting glance at it as well. “Well McGee,” Tony began, “I think that if we are a bit more considerate with each other, than we can be good friends.” McGee took a deep breath. “My next question is what you think you will be doing here for the next twenty four hours?” Tony thought about that question for a minute before answering. “I’m not entirely sure Tim. The best I could come up with was you making me do everything for you and basically being your man servant for a day, or else making me humiliate myself for your own personal revenge and satisfaction.” “You’re somewhat right. Because after tonight we won’t look at each other in quite the same way again, if that is a hint.” McGee let that hang in the air as the last minute to midnight started its countdown. “I’ll let you explain that to me in one literal minute. But I have another question for you McGee. What was with hiding your martial arts skills?” Tony asked. “I didn’t want to be pushed out of the team or beyond my abilities when I came to work for our team. After a while it just became habit. But there is another thing I have kept in the bag up until this point with everyone, and it is what is going to blow your mind.” McGee sat back with his coy smile on his face. “Yeah, that’s intriguing. But my last question first. Why did you arrange that challenge with me?” Tony asked, knowing full well what the answer would probably be. “I was willing to risk everything to get you under my control for a day, and it paid off.” McGee smiled. “And what if you had lost?” Tony asked. “Then I doubt this conversation would be taking place and we’d be out at a bar taking on your perspective of living.” Tim answered. He looked up at the clock. “Five, four, three, two, one, midnight.” Tony looked over to see the second hand tick past the twelve. He took a deep breath, hoping for the best but expecting the worst. He leaned forward form his position on the couch to where McGee was sitting in his armchair. “So what do I do for you now sir?” Tony asked. “I’ll give you a choice. I can explain or I can show you.” Tim put his beer down and leaned forward as well. “Okay, I get to choose something for my first order from my new boss.” Tony said with his humorous voice in place. He thought about it for a minute. What would Tim ask of him that would be so bad? It couldn’t be sexual because Tim had never shown signs of attraction, so it was probably be technical, something on his computer. Being shown would be a better answer. If push came to shove, being shown would be a better choice. He knew, either way, Tim would explain. All he had to do was go with it, since it was worth more than a thousand movies worth a lot of money. “Show me,” Tony answered. Tim looked more sheepish than Tony had ever seen him. It had been the answer Tim had been hoping for, and this was the make and break point. In one fast movement he grabbed Tony’s chin to hold him in place, leaned forward and kissed him full on the lips, his tongue entering Tony’s mouth before he knew what was happening. Tony, needless to say, was stunned. Tim withdrew before Tony had a chance to do something rash, like bite. “Did you just...? You didn’t! You’re not...” Tony stuttered, trying to control himself. “You’re right, I’m not gay. You asked me that yourself a while ago,” Tim answered, his voice full of uncertainty and what he could only describe as empathy for the situation. “But then...?” Tony began. “I’m bisexual Tony,” Tim continued, filling in the blanks. “You see, when you questioned me, I told you the truth that I was neither gay nor bi-curious. But since you jumped the middle man of the list, I was telling you the truth. There have been a number of times I have said I got laid, but I never said with whom, and left you to assume what you wanted.” McGee let that settle while Tony put it all together in his head. “And you... want me to...? Is that what all this is about?” Tony asked. “Somewhat. Not totally, but somewhat. I want to break apart that part of you that challenges me, because I know it will come back. I promise you it isn’t going to be forced upon you, but I do promise that this is what I had planned.” McGee hoped he was explaining this right. Tony just sat there blinking and gaping. “I see that this is taking a moment to process. Have a beer,” Tim offered, opening another can and emptying it into Tony’s glass, which had since become empty. Tony took it and swallowed almost half of it before he came back up for air. “Well, I understand a few things now McGee, but you can’t expect me to do this? You know I’m straight.” Tony stood up and walked away from Tim, looking for something to stare at. “Why did the book wind you up so much?” Tony asked. “Because all my fears of you knowing when I didn’t want you to surfaced. I thought you had either figured it out or seen me with a guy over last weekend. Fear turned to panic and I had to phrase it to see if you knew or not. When you didn’t seem to know, I clocked you just for being a dick and keeping my cover.” McGee sighed as he stood up and walked over to Tony who still had his back turned. “Where is the book, by the way? No one could find it since you punched my lights out.” Tim pointed over Tony’s shoulder to a place on the bookshelf where the book could clearly be seen. “And I suppose you are going to show me what you know?” Tony asked defensively. “Look, Tony, I backed you into this corner but it doesn’t mean I am going to jump into it when you aren’t going to be physically ready for it.” Tim walked around Tony to face him. “And I’m not totally doing it to denote your masculinity. I honestly care about you and a part of me wants to show it to you physically.” Tony looked into Tim’s eyes. There was something there that told him instantly he was being truthful. “I am not into guys Tim. I doubt I’d fill your wants and needs.” Tony replied. “I think you will find that I can do quite a wonder for guys.” Tim answered. “And what about our professional relationship? Don’t you think that this is going to put a bit of a wedge in it?” Tony asked. “We’ll be fine. We have seen each other before; just I was exercising more self-control to hide my want for your body.” Tim put a hand on Tony’s shoulder. “Tell me that this will be kept private,” Tony requested. “Gibbs knows because he is impossible to keep a secret from when you lay a solitary clue before him. I promised him that we would be fine to work together again. The others have no clue, and if they do then they will keep quiet about it.” Tim looked at Tony again, who seemed to be contemplating his options. He wasn’t sure, but he suspected Tony’s eyes were very watery. “I just don’t know Tim. But it seems I have little choice.” Tony lowered his arms to relax at his sides. “So come on, just get started.” “Not until I am finished.” Tim stepped to one side and indicated that they should return to the couch. “Have you ever had any sexual contact with a guy, excluding the transgender you kissed way back when?” Tony looked up at Tim and then flashed his weak smile. “Only once. When I was really young I went camping with a friend and he and I shared a tent. It wasn’t anything great. We looked, we touched and kissed once or twice. I was about twelve or thirteen. It wasn’t much. Other than that, nothing.” “Well, let’s start with familiar territory and go from there,” Tim suggested. Tony took a last swig of his beer before setting it down and taking a deep breath. The smell of the musk incense was getting to him. It was relaxing him. He simply sat while Tim sat beside him, leaned in slowly and their lips met again. It was like what he thought it would be; rougher than a girls but still had its pleasure. Kissing was something he secretly enjoyed more than sex. He might kiss and tell, but at least the kiss part was more satisfying. And at the same time, Tim was a good kisser. He felt Tim’s hand running down the left side of his face, and it prompted him to do the same. His only thought was that if McGee was telling the truth, then he might get a bit of pleasure out of this and some experience if nothing more. Even if he was going to be exposed to being the receiver as opposed to the giver, there couldn’t be any harm in doing it once. Hang on; there was something else he thought he’d better tell. He pulled away from Tim for a moment. “You’re not comfortable, are you?” Tim asked. “It’s not that, there is something else I should probably tell you,” Tony began. “I’m listening,” Tim said. Reading Tony’s expression, he could tell this was something harder to confess than usual. Doing what he hoped was the right thing, he took one of Tony’s hands and rubbed his thumb across the back of it in a reassuring gesture. Tony seemed to appreciate it. “There was this one girl I was with quite a while ago. We were both pretty drunk, but I still recall what happened. While we were still fore-playing, she offered me what she said was the best orgasm of my life. Well, I thought she was going to try something no other girl had, which was true enough. She rolled me over and started rimming me while in a bent over position. Just when I was relaxed enough, she started to... she pushed a dildo up my arse. I was sore at first, but the experience became more pleasurable until I blew the biggest load. It was one of the best orgasms, although not the top of my list.” Tony finished his short story and waited for Tim to respond. “And you give me crap about getting it on with guys and you have done that?” Tim asked. “Well, I thought I’d better let you know that, anally, you won’t be my first,” Tony said with a smile of satisfaction. “I’m not going into detail about the firsts of your anal sex Tony.” Tim replied before kissing him again. Tony, his analytical mind still turned on, seemed to find the kiss, and the way Tim was treating him, somewhat bizarre. It was almost relationship like. But that wouldn’t happen. The next twenty three hours and forty five minutes would be the most they would share as a couple in this respect, but after midnight tomorrow, the game was over. Until then, this was the real game, and it had begun. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
